    Evening Mass
My first time attending a Latin mass. It was amazing and the church was beautiful. Security guard was extremely helpful in obtaining an Uber. Plan was to walk back to Union Station. Due to the neighborhood and it was after 7:30 decided against it.

    Beautiful architecture, small cathedral
Went here for mass while in town for a conference. It was during lent and all crosses and statues were solemnly covered in purple. There is a lot of stained glass and the stations of the cross were prominently displayed. For a cathedral, I found it to be on the small side. I have belonged to two parish churches with more pews. But it definitely had the grandeur of a cathedral. The spires and glass were well done. It definitely reached high in the sky. Beautiful spot in a great location just steps from the state capital.

    Amazing windows
We visited the Cathedral when was mass in process so we took part in it. After we went around and were amazed by the beauty of stained glass windows. Later we found they are 75 there! Not too many people were there but it was weekday. On the way there we saw a few homeless/drug addict who asked for money. It is worth to visit it.

Beautiful cathedral located steps away from the state Capitol. Surrounded by hundreds of homeless camped out all over the streets. The inside is actually much smaller that what you imagine by looking at the grandeur of the outside. Stain glass is breathtaking and the marble and stone exceptional.

Beautiful church-impressive architecture and beautiful stained glass! I always appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship while taking a few minutes out of my day for quiet prayer or reflection. We visited on a Saturday morning and the area and church were very quiet…not far from the Capital building. Worth a quick stop but I wouldn’t spend much time in the area.

Walk to this iconic church on Colfax near the downtown area of Denver. It is a place to go and say a prayer, or light a candle for a loved one. Be sure to drop a few dollars into the till for the church since it must cost a fortune to keep this place going. I was lucky enough to get married there in 1985 and it is as beautiful today as it was thirty-five years ago. It has been kept up quite well over the years.

Passing through Denver, staying at a hotel near the basilica so I made an effort to stop in for a few moments of reflection. A lovely, peaceful space. Despite the size of the nave, it was a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I'd certainly recommend it for those so inclined.

Awesome stained glass windows and acoustics will draw you into the church. It's a great stop to rest if you are on foot for a moment of calm and cooling down in the hot Denver heat. If you are lucky, someone might be practicing the organ for a recital. Free concerts are given perdiodically and well worth the trip. The space is a place for contemplation and rest. The garden too is pleasant.

Beautiful stop, and is within walking distance of other sights:
Civic Center Park; State Capital; Denver Art Museum; Denver Public Library, Denver History Museum. The Episcopal Cathedral is not far, either.

TIME: It is helpful to check the Mass times before going; either if you are going to attend Mass, or to visit outside of Mass times.

CATHEDRAL INFO: 75 stained glass windows is the most of any church in the US. Constructed between 1906 and 1912, the marble was shipped from Carrara, Italy, and the stained glass from Munich, Germany.

PARKING: There are only about 12 parking spaces at the Cathedral; you can park there to visit the Cathedral, but do not leave your car there for more than an hour. (The gated parking is for Cathedral Plaza; do not park there.) If you park in metered parking and don't get back in time, you WILL get a parking ticket. You also have to check signs for street-cleaning days. There is an all-day parking lot on Logan, just west of the Cathedral. Bring dollar bills to stuff in the slots and park there, or you could park in Art Museum Parking a few block south on Broadway. There is limited street parking south and/or east of the Cathedral, away from downtown. Just be sure to check the parking signs. Also know that there are a lot of one-way streets in this area.

A lot of history , it is under construction for maintenance. Not a lot of good pictures to get as a result.

I attended the Holy Orders Celebration on May 16th, 2015. This Cathedral is simply beautiful. The stained glass is a wonder, and the choir and organ acoustics during mass simply heaven. I consider this a must see when in Denver, and I visit as often as I can. The cathedral is easily accessed from the city centre, by a walk of 10 minutes, and is located almost next door to the Colorado State Capitol.
