This was my first visit to the Bluebird, and must say I will be back. I loved everything about it. Very intimate theater where there isn't a bad view from anywhere. My niece was playing so that is what brought me and my family in. The crowd and the staff were great. We had a great time and will be... More

The different levels make the stage very easy to see. The lighting is phenomenal and it has really good Alaska. Would recommend

Small, intimate, with only downside is that there are few seats. Great sound, sight lines and an excellent indie line up of artists- recently saw a sold-out Brian Jonestown Massacre show there. Highly recommended.

We walked in a the place looked like a fresh paint was recently done, most small neighborhood venues are a bit beat up in downtown, so many shows and paced houses. We really enjoyed the layout, great view from floor due to cascading flooring, nice railing to lean on when your tired or grooving. balcony is nice too. We enjoyed... More

What a cool and intimate theater! It felt like a throwback in time, with such a down to earth vibe, and what an appropriate setting for my favorite artist of all time, Jess Glynne!! It's 400 capacity, and I've never had such good 'seats' (it's standing only - although there were some bar stools in the back and the balcony).... More

Denver's Bluebird is NOT a Nashville franchisee! It is an old movie house venue that is a mandatory pathway for all of Denver's local rock and pop music groups on their way to national success. And, they always come back, even after making it HUGE. The music is only as good as the band on a given night, but the... More

Took my teenage daughter to Girls Night In at the Bluebird a few weeks ago. Since the theater is located on Colfax (not the greatest part of town) and parking can be difficult, I researched thoroughly to understand what we were getting into. We loved the whole experience, but to avoid disappointment you should be aware of a few things.... More

I was here for a concert. It was cold outside, but they don't allow smoking inside. Unfortunately, outside is right off of Colfax, not a place you want to be at night. However, this area isn't particularly bad. The venue is older, of cool colors and you pretty much always have a great view of the stage.

I can't get enough of this venue! Shows here are typically very reasonable in price ($15-25 per show). Even when they are sold out, the place is not uncomfortably crowded. The bartenders are friendly and serve you quickly. And the size of this venue is great for getting up close and personal with the band. Been to at least 5+... More
