I wish there was more and that a few of the things were labeled a little better but all in all, a good visit and worth the price of admission though I was solo and paying for a family of 4 would feel a little expensive. I had to call to be let in but that was no problem.Visited December 2023Written December 31, 2023

It’s like walking back in time to see all the memoriablia from the great ball parks of the past. Bruce is knowledgeable and happy to share stories or allow you to take everyone on our own.Visited April 2024Traveled soloWritten April 26, 2024

This place is crammed (and I mean crammed) full of all sorts of baseball stuff. I don't know how they meet ADA requirements, two people can barely pass by each other in the aisle. There's no way someone in a wheelchair could navigate this place.

We stumbled upon this little gem near Coors Field on a Thursday in March. The owner gave us a personal tour. He’s simply a passionate baseball fan and memorabilia collector who has made his collection public. The museum contains items that highlight the original 14 classic ballparks and includes old turn styles and ticket stubs, even a copy of Babe Ruth’s 1932 tax return! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Denver and you love baseball.

Great lil baseball gem in Denver

My son, grandson and I were in Denver to see the Detroit Tigers play the Rockies at Coors field. Being baseball fans, we saw that Denver had this wonderful little baseball museum. What a wonderful experience! The place was JAMMED wall to wall with baseball memorabilia. We ran into Bruce (owner/collector) and he took us around telling great baseball stories. This man is a baseball historian. Seats, turnstiles, scoreboards, pictures, baseballs, it has it all!

This is a small but amazing museum filled with all sorts of ballpark artifacts and memorabilia. Among many other treasures, there are seats, turnstiles, and bricks from the classic parks built between 1891-1923.
As a Dodger fan, I loved seeing the section on Ebbets Field, including an original baseball-shaped lamp from the rotunda. It was also a pleasure to meet Bruce, the founder, who is a real gentleman and happy to share his vast knowledge.
If you are a baseball fan, this wonderful museum is an absolute must-visit!

The Ballpark Museum is a hidden gem for all true baseball fans. The curator has gone to great lengths to secure treasures from America’s greatest ballparks. The Museum
Is a must visit for any true respecter of the game. An unexpected surprise was seeing Babe Ruth’s 1932 Federal Income Tax Return. Well worth the time to visit. Staff is very helpful and appreciative of our visit.

We happened upon this and I’m glad that we did. We were in Denver for our annual baseball stadium tour so it was perfect for us. They have a great homegrown collection and it’s a non profit. We would highly recommend people to check it out and recommend the owner to advertise it more.

I read about this museum in the book "101 Baseball Places to See before you Strike Out." As a baseball fan, history teacher, and ballpark aficionado, this place was right up my alley. The collection is impressive, and also quirky. As a SF Giants fan, I really enjoyed the Polo Grounds artifacts. BUT - it was really neat to see things from Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, and Parc Jarry in Montreal. An awesome place, and a must-see for hardcore baseball fans,

I am glad we could jump off the book page and become a 3D expierence for you. As a history teacher we would like to offer you any materials you might need for your classroom that helps tell the history of baseball and it's old ballparks! Check out the website, National Ballpark Museum for more history of those old parks and more, book reviews etc.

How long does it take to go thru the museum?
Written May 16, 2016
it depends on you. The place is small, but there are lots of little things and intricate details that can take some time to see. My wife and I took about 45 min to an hour and looked at a lot of different things. For planning purposes I would say 1 hour.
