5 star luxury in the heart of Boulder
Feb 2021 • Friends
Amaaaazing! I was fortunate enough to be booked a massage with Stephen, and he is absolutely phenomenal! The front desk staff, Gia and Ashley, were attentive and helpful, and all areas of the spa were well kept and gave a luxurious feel. You almost forget you're in Boulder and not a 5 star resort!
Thank you all soooo much

Simply Amazing Massage
Oct 2019
My wife and I both had perhaps the best massages we've ever had today. Since we get massages fairly often, we know what it takes to deliver an exceptional one.

Both of our therapists listened to what we wanted and delivered. The setting was great and the opportunity to have a glass of wine or champagne following the massage was a treat.

I highly recommend this be on your list if looking for a massage while in Denver.

unfortunately very disappointed.......go elsewhere.....

The first thing I look for in a Spa experience is to be relaxed and renewed. I've worked in the Spa industry for over 20 years - I was left very disappointed. First, the parking situation is horrendous - that's not the fault of Woodhouse Spa, but you must keep that in mind when preparing for your experience there - give yourself PLENTY o time to find a space. I parked in the lot behind the Spa...Feeling myself lucky, I entered the reception area and mentioned that it had been a challenge to find a space, and asked if it was alright to park there. I explained I had an appointment immediately after my service, and felt fortunate to get a space that I could access quickly after my treatment. The reception was aloof and cold, but they assured me that it would be fine to park there...nothing further mentioned. I was offered wine or a beverage - nice touch..but again, the reception is aloof at best. I had what I will categorize as a perfectly fine pedicure..nothing exceptional, but the atmosphere in the room was nice, the woman giving the pedicure was well trained. Nothing over the top for $60....but perfectly good. Then the fun part. I went out to my car to leave. It was blocked in. There was a car parked directly behind, and there was absolutely NO way to get out I went back into the Spa and told them my dilemma....there was a sign outside in the lot stating unauthorized cars would be towed.....so at the least, I figured the car could be towed if we could not locate the owner. The person who had parked there could not have missed the fact that they had me blocked in when they left their car. Long story short....I was treated as though I was imposing on them to help me solve this situation....They insisted they ask every one who parks in the back to leave their keys so cars can be moved...however I was never asked to give up my keys...and apparently whomever parked there had not bee asked either.....I was delayed over 45 minutes waiting for them to locate the owner - who was getting a service. The entire experience was so frustrating and exhausting - and the most alarming part was how little the management seemed to care about it.....All in all, I missed the appointment that had been scheduled after my treatment, I was totally stressed out, and almost missed my flight out of DIA. I understand there are operational challenges in any business, but there is a definite lack of training that impacted my experience at the spa. My name was taken by the Manager on duty - who was actually the only person who seemed to show any interest in my well being....and I had anticipated a call from the owner that evening. It's one week later - and no all. This lack of follow up, and the entire experience tells me that there are problems and issues that need to be addressed at this business. Very unfortunate - perhaps they have expanded too much? Save yourself the aggregation and go to Antoine Du Chez, or better yet - Tall Grass and get a real Spa Experience.

Good massage, lack of attention to detail
Jan 2019 • Couples
My wife and I were in Denver for 2 days at the end of January. We both had scheduled 80 minute massages at the Woodhouse Say Spa. Mine stared at 2:30pm and ended at 3:20.

I think getting short changed on my massage was an honest mistake on their part. I was a bit surprised when the therapist said it was over. I rarely get massages but when I do I like to enjoy every minute. Unfortunately my massage got cut short which was a huge disappointment.

It was a good deep tissue massage. Much needed but unfortunately too short! But they do serve wine and champagne so I sat on the sun porch and drank wine while I waited on my wife for an hour.

Over all a decent experience. Would I return? Probably.

Refreshing and Fun

My daughter treated me to a pedicure here. Who's the lucky mom? What an amazing experience. You can sip on a glass of wine while you wait (not long) for your appointment, browse the shop with its tempting skin and lotion formulas, or enjoy the sunroom with its relaxed ambiance. Everyone who works here seems to really love the place. Now I understand why. I've had pedicures before, but not like this! Will I be back? why yes, I will!

If you are looking for a warm, relaxing spa experience without the big brand hype, the Woodhouse Day Spa is perfect. Beautiful old home converted to a spa. The treatments are wonderful and service providers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Overall good experience

Went with two other girlfriends on a recent trip to Denver. All three of us had facials & the 90 minute massage.

The changing area is quite small & lacks privacy & it doesn’t have a steam or sauna like other spas. One restroom that’s outdated. The quiet room to wait in between treatments was comfortable.

My 80 minute massage was fantastic. We were on the 3rd floor, room was warm & cozy, bed heated & my massage was so good!

My facial was just okay. I’ve had better at most places & expected a bit better for the price. I asked for a deeper facial as it had been several months since my last facial but didn’t get any of that.

Overall the three of us had a nice time & I would try it again - i would request something other than their signature facial.

OMG! The best treat!

My friend took me here. This four hours was one of the best four hours I have had. Sitting around my best friend drinking mimosas in soft, plush robes, reading magazines and chatting was even better than facial and manicure- those were great too!

I want to be a wealthy woman so I can go here again without the guilt of spending A LOT of money in four hours. (My friend treated, so I could spa guilt free. She is wonderful and kind.)

I’m a local and I visit this spa 2-3 times a year for the last 10 years. I’ve never had a bad experience. You get a complementary glass of wine, champagne, or mimosa. There is also tea and light snacks. Would definitely recommend a Swedish or hot stone massage.
