We were surprised to find this small winery that makes its wine right there in the basement. The food was excellent. We ordered our food and started our wine tasting, they came and got us when our food was ready, we finished our lunch and went back to finish our wine tasting and tour of the wine making. We came... I had a tasting at Balistreri Vinyards on a recent business trip to Denver. Didn't have a lot of time for fun, but their hours were convenient for the trip, and I loved the free tasting. It is a lot of wine, and all quite delicious. Great place for dinner too!

This small, family operated winery is a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. The family runs the tasting room and gives the tours; their pride, enthusiasm and enjoyment of their winery add to the delightful experience. You get free tastings of all their wines.

Our planned visit to a state park had to be canceled for rain. Looking around for something else to do with our day we stumbled across this vineyard. We had a great day tasting 15 different wines and touring the operation. They have a great story of a family run, all natural business. I am not a huge wine person,... More

My mom and I stopped here over Mother's Day weekend, and it was great. They let you taste ALL their wines for free. It's family run, and everyone behind the bar was part of the family, from the owner and his wife to their kids and grandkids. We ate lunch here, and it was WONDERFUL! We had the chilled avocado... What a great find. I just wish I lived in this area! The wines are excellent and the food is DIVINE! They were setting up for a big tasting dinner in the basement and it looked really neat! The special events sell out immediately! The tasting and tour are very well done! The owner's attention to detail and making the... More

A hidden gem. Well worth the visit. Excellent wines and food. Free tastings of all there wines and port. The food was excellent. We had a leisurely lunch with wine and port for 4. And look forward to returning soon.

So much more than I expected out of this visit. The space is simple, but very pleasant. It's one of few places where the tastings are free, and you get MANY tastes. I believe we tried somewhere around 13 different wines, including a delicious Port. The tour was excellent! Birdie, one of the owners, gave us lots of interesting information... More

We stopped in here to try their wines while in the Denver area. Cute little wine bar with a wide selection of award winning wines. They let you sample their wines before purchasing them and the staff is very informative and very helpful. Good wines at a descent price.
