This was such a great experience! Tyler was immediately friendly with the whole group and set the tone for the rest of the day. Lucky for us, it snowed the night before so we were able to snowshoe the entire hike which was an added bonus! Tyler was very patient and made sure the whole group got enough rest/breaks. Sledding across the frozen lake and down the trail was so much fun. Tyler also took quality photos of the group which was a nice touch. Buzzin over the pizza stop we had for lunch, don’t forget to try the crust with honey!! The BEST way to end the day was at the geothermal caves. The springs were so relaxing and hot, you can’t miss this at the end of the day. Also nice you could switch your caves pass to go in the mineral pool when you’re ready to cool down. Overall, well-thought out itinerary and a fun way to spend a day outside of the city and Denver.

We chose this tour Colorado Gold Rush and Mine half-day tour) because the one we tried first was sold out. In the end we were happy we did. The tour was great, with an excellent tour guide (Christin). The gold mine part was more interesting than I expected. We appreciated the flexibility of the guide, who adapted quickly to the tour members to customize the experience.

We had an amazing day with Alli riding bikes from Vail down to Frisco, enjoying a delicious lunch in this cute town, and then riding back to Alli's car which we parked in Keystone (about 25 miles total ride). My 26-year-old son is a mountain biker, but I am not. So this tour that ACT came up with (in the mountains but on a paved path) was the perfect fit for the two of us. Alli was a terrific guide, full of interesting facts and a great attitude. It was an invigorating way to kick off our visit to the Denver area.

Had a great day on the glacier and in the gold mine led by the incomparable Ariel and Shawn. They were both really friendly and accommodating of my family's wishes. Ariel personally went above and beyond for us! Really amazing guides, beautiful scenery and a surprisingly education experience at the mines! And lunch at Beau Jo's was such a treat! Highly recommend.

Tyler was very helpful in guiding us on the Glacier tour. He had all the equipment needed, was patient with our group and took excellent photos. He's a great guy and the tour was totally worth it. I would definitely do it again! Thanks, Tyler! Looking forward to booking another excursion when I return to Denver

Tyler is super cool and knowledgeable, and the entire experience was super pleasant! Everything is timed perfectly, and even new hikers like me and my partner were able to keep up and have fun. Best pizza ever, and the geothermal caves are the coolest!!

Breanne was a wonderful tour guide and we had such a awesome day!! I love the small group attention of this company (1 tour guide to 4 people)! It was like having a private tour guide. Breanne was engaging, knowledgeable and accommodating. I totally enjoyed this day! Highly recommend!!

One of a kind experience! The frozen lake when you reach the top will take your breath away. Trey was an amazing guide with great stories, very accommodating, knowledgeable & funny, But most importantly, he was not weirded out that I collect rocks and pick some up on the way LOL. Trey will guide you the way with equipment and educate you on the elevation as some people may not adapt well to high altitude.
Pictures will not do this place justice. Just Book and Go!
The hot springs was a nice experience, we opted out on the pizza.

My husband and I had such a blast on this trip. Everything we needed was provided and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The camp location was in a great, private spot with incredible views. The drive from Denver was astounding and we made a couple of stops in small towns with great food. We were provided with a tent, blow up bed, and lots of blankets and hand warmers to ensure we didn’t get cold at night. On top of that, there were great people that made the experience all the better. We were taught how to fish, there was a yoga instructor, and a great scavenger hung was made. I would do this trip again and again and again. Thank you everyone so much for such a great experience!

I see that crampons are included but what about poles ?

Usually we don’t need poles with the crampons, only when there is over a foot of snow on the ground and use snowshoes. If you would like poles there is a place to stop on the way so you can rent them. Let me know if you have any other questions.
