If you like comedy shows, you will enjoy Adams Mystery Playhouse. The actors are an experienced comedy ensemble, they are having a good time with each other ad-libbing and they personalize the show with many cute interactions with the audience. It's campy fun, and even though you don't really come to these things for the food, dinner was quite good enough-especially the warm chocolate chip cookies at the end of ours. There's a well-stocked cash bar, and the house itself is historically interesting (it was a once a mortuary!) It's a fun evening, many tables were there enjoying birthdays.

This is the best dinner mystery theater I've ever attended. Beats Dinner Detective by a million miles. Loved the improv, dancing, and inclusion of audience participants in the actual storyline. Also liked that the cast is up on a stage at the front, and the emcee wanders in the audience. Loved that audience members were asked to read clues to identify who done it. FANTASATIC!

We went as a group of nine to celebrate a birthday. What a memorable birthday it was. The house is the first character you see. It’s a perfect setting for a murder dinner. Greeted by the first friendly actor who tells us where our table is. There is a cash bar in the parlor before we get seated. The actors are also the servers. We had chicken, rice, salad, and a warm cookie for dessert. The food was very good. Then the show started, each table in the room had someone participate in finding the murderer. Overall the atmosphere was fun and lighthearted. There were all ages there. No small children though, which was good since that would have been distracting.
It was so fun. We would definitely go back, and highly recommended going for a easy fun evening.

This is an absolutely fun experience. They offer parking for free which is a plus so you don't have to spend time hunting down a spot. Very personable people/actors who interact with guest while the room you will be sitting in is being set up and made ready for you.

There were about 12 tables in the main room, each set up for 8 to 10 people (there are 3 floors, out of 4, equipped for shows. The 3rd is occasionally used for a small magic act for approx 15 people). We were in one of the front tables but there are great views from any table in the room.

The actors make it so much fun to watch and the whole room participates in parts of the show. Don't be shy, its a whole lot of fun.

A girls trip from South Dakota brought us to Adams Mystery Playhouse. Not knowing what to expect, this was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. Adult humor, quick witted jokes, and a personalized show. Absolutely recommend putting this stop on your bucket list for Denver, CO!

It could not have been worse. Dinner on paper plate, chicken with cheap bbq sauce and cheap potato salad, an inedible corn veggie, 2 raw baby carrots and a stick of celery. A cheap cookie handed to guests or left on vinyl tablecloth. Worse meal ever

Very amateur acting, poor acoustics. J

This is a must do in Denver! We enjoyed every minute of the show and laughed until we hurt. An excellent small family business where they work hard to make sure you have an excellent time. We even received a call a few days after our trip from the owner, making sure we had a good time and thanking us for coming. We can’t wait to go back the next time we are in Denver!

My husband had bought me a gift certificate to this place along time ago, we failed to use it before Covid set in and we’re afraid we had lost it. They were generous enough to honor it and I was surprised they were open but we had an absolutely wonderful time. The owners and the other actors or so much fun and it was really a great evening. It was nice to have something close to normal to enjoy!

Plans fell through for a Friends outing on Valentine’s Day the day before. We scrambled to find something else to do on such short notice.

Thankfully, The Adams Mystery Playhouse was able to accommodate our group of 6! Marne and David were so easy to work with over the phone for reservations.

We arrived around 6:15pm and were able to find street parking right across the street. The scavenger hunt was fun and filled the time between our arrival and seating for the show/ dinner.

The actors were absolutely wonderful and quick witted. They made sure to visit our table to introduce themselves and their roles in the festivities.

The show was awesome! There were enough breaks in the show to take potty breaks, grab drinks from the bar, and still keep up with the story.

Loved the conga line! Thank you for a great time! I’ve already planned my next night out there with my family!

Great Fun! We have been half a dozen times over 15 - 20 years. It is fun, funny and even goofy. Everyone comes to have a good time and it is contagious. Carlos and his wife have made laughing and having a good time into their life. The meal is good, but nothing to write about, but the laughs are real! Great for couples, kids (especially young teens). Nothing is ever vulgar so it is teen appropriate. Younger kids may miss the humor, although they do have special kids shows too. We have taken our daughters and now our grand daughter. She was smiling from ear to ear.
