My husband had bought me a gift certificate to this place along time ago, we failed to use it before Covid set in and we’re afraid we had lost it. They were generous enough to honor it and I was surprised they were open but we had an absolutely wonderful time. The owners and the other actors or so much fun and it was really a great evening. It was nice to have something close to normal to enjoy!

Plans fell through for a Friends outing on Valentine’s Day the day before. We scrambled to find something else to do on such short notice. Thankfully, The Adams Mystery Playhouse was able to accommodate our group of 6! Marne and David were so easy to work with over the phone for reservations. We arrived around 6:15pm and were able to find street parking right across the street. The scavenger hunt was fun and filled the time between our arrival and seating for the show/ dinner. The actors were absolutely wonderful and quick witted. They made sure to visit our table to introduce themselves and their roles in the festivities. The show was awesome! There were enough breaks in the show to take potty breaks, grab drinks from the bar, and still keep up with the story. Loved the conga line! Thank you for a great time! I’ve already planned my next night out there with my family!

I decided it was time to write a review. I’ve been to the playhouse with different groups in August, October and December. I found a positive review on Trip Advisor and decided to take my sister who was in town from Florida. I had never been to a “dinner theatre” before so an adventure for both of us. Housed in a former funeral home, you know you are in for a treat the minute you walk in the door. The dinner buffet is served first very efficiently after some initial explanations about the evening-even that is great fun with continual audience participation. I went again in October with my husband and two neighbors whom we treated as for our own personal birthday celebrations. Again-EVEN MORE FUN and a different show. The third time was a Christmas gift and we took six people including two grandkids. It was even MORE FUN-new show. This was also not an easy group to feed with three vegetarians and two gluten free eaters in the group but the playhouse works to accommodate dietary restrictions. The family was very impressed. The best part though is the wonderful cast and the interaction with the audience. These are joyous people who love theatre and visibly love providing their audience with a great time. The price is very reasonable! We always reserve the front row tables and it is less that 50.00 a person for dinner and the show. Other seats are less and there are even two for one options. If my husband currently didn’t have a pending back surgery-we would be there this month as well. It is an ideal activity to do with out of town guests, kids, grumpy friends or special occasions. The cast and crew all wonderful and each time is different.

This is an absolutely fun experience. They offer parking for free which is a plus so you don't have to spend time hunting down a spot. Very personable people/actors who interact with guest while the room you will be sitting in is being set up and made ready for you. There were about 12 tables in the main room, each set up for 8 to 10 people (there are 3 floors, out of 4, equipped for shows. The 3rd is occasionally used for a small magic act for approx 15 people). We were in one of the front tables but there are great views from any table in the room. The actors make it so much fun to watch and the whole room participates in parts of the show. Don't be shy, its a whole lot of fun.

The fajitas were bland. Food was mediocre. The entertainment was fun and interesting. It was our first time at this type event. It was very interactive in a fun way.
