Came here on a whim for a fun activity while in Denver. We signed up for the cocktail making class. Loved watching and talking to the bartender while he made us delicious cocktails including Moscow mules and a cream drink. After the class we ordered a martini with blue cheese vodka and olive vodka. We loved it and it was so unique. Would definitely come back just for that drink. Ambience of the distillery was very nice and wasn’t busy. Definitely a Covid friendly activity

Michael and Wade are very welcoming and accommodating. You will enjoy the tour and then love their alcohol. Try as many of their cocktails as you reasonably can. Great venue for events also. They built the place with top of the line everything and it shows.

We found this through a groupon purchase but I have to say I would pay full price and feel like I got a good value because it was a great experience! First, Michael the owner took his time, explained his history and his passion for distilling spirits and how he designed the labels and the look. Second, the whole experience is special...the light up bar, the bubble wall and the cool decorations all set against a rough brick background that was the original wall for the kitty’s bar and theater years ago. Third, the alcohol was exactly as he described...smooth, easy to consume, and tasty. I am a “light” spirits drinker but I enjoyed the tasting and all of the flavors...I tried lavender and ginger and a Smokey flavor that was awesome! At the end of the tour we were treated to a full mixed beverage and they nailed the unusual flavors again...plus they were colorful and fun! I have a friend looking for a wedding and I’m recommending this location because it is so unique....almost a 1920s Art Deco feel to it. Also, the tour was fascinating because I haven’t done a distillery tour before (winery yes, but this is such a technical process, much more interesting). I highly recommend...for the experience or for a big party. The only downside might be parking. They do have private parking for the tours (behind the building with red signage) but for a party, your guests would need to take uber or something. Just an FYI...

My husband and I were vacationing in Colorado and when we were in Denver, we went to Archetype Distillery for the distillery tour and tasting. This was hands down one of our favorite places in Denver.

The tour began in the tasting room/bar and we worked our way through the whole building during the tour. Michael, the owner, gave us a history of the building and a background on the business, which was super cool! hearing his story really helps you appreciate their hard work that went into opening the doors to the public. you leave liking the place even more!

Archetype Distillery is a great place to hang out. THEY MAKE THE BEST DRINKS! Every drink made was just perfect! I was very very impressed!

A group of friends and I went to Archetype Distillery for the distillery tour and tasting. This truly is a Denver hidden gem that does not need to be missed!

The tour began, and ended, in the tasting room/bar. Michael, the owner, gave us a history of the building and a background on the business. I always love when you can hear and see the vision of the owner. It really helps you appreciate their proverbial blood, sweat, and tears that went into opening the doors to the public.

It took about two years for the renovation of the building to its current state. From the atmosphere to the selection of spirits, Archetype Distillery is a great place to hang out. They even do private events.

You get a couple of choices for your tasting, and both are smooth. After the tour, we also ordered the Kitty Galore and I had an Angel's Flight so I could try the beef jerky, habanero, and dill vodkas. Those with a keen eye will notice the ice cubes are actually top hats, which is a theme at Archetype Distillery. (If you want to know why, you'll have to take the tour!)

Be sure you check in on Yelp for the BOGO on Thursday and Friday nights!

Michael shared his knowledge and excitement while introducing us to his gin and vodka. Our visit started with tasting vodka and gin. Then the tour explained the distillation process and introduced us to a wonderful venue for fun parties. The best part was Michael mixing delicious, made-to-order beverages. This experience sets a high bar for other distilleries! We are very impressed and want to return for other events like High Tea on Sundays. You won't be disappointed! Excellent!
