I hosted a bachelor party in Denver, and this turned out to be the highlight of the weekend for us! I went out on a limb and asked if they wouldn't mind incorporating something dinosaur-related into the tour since the groom is a huge Jurassic Park fan. I wasn't expecting anything since it was such a unique ask. At our first stop our tour guide Kyle (who was fantastic across the board!) surprised us when he gave part of it in one of those inflatable T. rex costumes! Made everyone's tour something special, and I appreciate that they would go so far above and beyond to personalize our time there. I honestly can't recommend working with the team enough, and will definitely be looking to work with them again next time I can come out.
(The breweries they all took us to were fantastic too! Lots of smaller local spots that might get missed on a bigger tour)

Thank you very much seanmcgee1022 for the review!
It was a pleasure to host your group's bachelor party on the tour this past weekend. We do our best to provide the best experience possible and that includes reading the notes on reservations. I admit I was baffled a bit when I saw your request for for a dinosaur theme of some kind but a day after Kyle read it, he texted me and said "I got it!" I have to say, that was on point when Kyle found the t-rex costume.
Every time we get a reservation, we always look at the whole reservation to see if there are any notes. If you take the time to put something in the notes, we want to acknowledge it.It is cool to show up for a tour and being able to acknowledge someone's celebration, achievements, and feats. That shows our commitment to providing the best experience for our guests.
I admit...I have never received a request for dinosaur theme, that was fun.
Thank you very much for coming on the tour. We look forward to hosting you again!
Cheers!

As everyone else has stated on this site the reviews for Denver Brews Cruise are spot on.
The trip takes you to 4 breweries over 4 hours. Each stop had it's own unique beer that we got to sample. Brent, the owner and tour guide, made the trip so much better with his knowledge in craft beer and passion around this tour.
He made sure to remember everyone by their first name and took into account the types of beers we liked and and disliked to provide the best experience for each person in our group.
The best part of the tour was the fact that we got to try beers from breweries that we never would have found (being tourists) without Brent's relationships with each brewery.
Needless to say, I will be recommending this tour to everyone I know making a trip out to Denver.

Brent runs an outstanding beer tour. I'm a home brewer and appreciate that he took the time to explain the basics of beer brewing as well as getting into a bit more detail for those who were interested. We really liked that this was not just a trip to a bunch of bars but actually visits and behind the scenes looks at some of Denver's small craft breweries. Be prepared, the sample pours are generous and numerous so have a plan to return home safely after your trip.

I left 2 messages with Denver Brews Cruise inquiring about Tuesday tours for a group of 12 and got no call back. Website said they do these "one-off" but the lack of a response says otherwise. As a local with frequent out of town guests, I won't be be looking at taking them here.

To Whom It May Concern:
In this day and time of multiple communication tools, the scenario described in this review happens all too often. It certainly warrants a feeling of frustration. I understand. It certainly appears that I dropped the ball in this situation and my sincere apologies.
Summer time for Denver Brews Cruise is a busy time and being a one man/van show, it is even busier. There are advantages to being a one man/van show; providing a personal VIP feel to the tours and being able to form relationships with my customers, top that list. Unfortunately, disadvantages include only having certain windows of time on a daily basis for communication between myself and my customers. There are times it is hard to juggle.
I am troubled to hear that this scenario occurred. All tours, whether they are 4 top tours or 12 top tours, are important to me and being this was to be a Tuesday tour for a local group of 12, I am baffled at how I missed this.
To the author of this review, will you please send me a time frame of when this occurred so that I can begin to figure out what happened? I would greatly appreciate that. Email is the best way.
My reservation book is full of Monday, Tuesday, and Midweek early afternoon tours all of which are beyond the normally scheduled 5 tours a week. This summer I am averaging 6-8 tour a week, sometimes 9 tours. I do my best to keep up with demand.
Cheers!
Brent

we attempted to contact the brew cruise folks several times to notify them our flight had been delayed for several hours and maybe getting on the later brew cruise. NEVER heard from them. received e-mail from them once we were back in ohio thanking us for being on their brew cruise, that we were never on. horrible customer relations.

We appreciate this review and wish to address the unfortunate circumstances that are involved. The great majority of reviews posted on behalf of Denver Brews Cruise do support the fact that we take customer service seriously. We strive to offer the best customer experience from reservation to the last sample offered.
Through no fault of this customer, or Denver Brews Cruise, the fact that delayed flights on the day of the scheduled tour left us with little time to make accommodations. One notification of flight delay was received via email which appears to be from a phone email address. All phone calls were answered that day and no additional messages were received. We are not sure why the response from Denver Brews Cruise was not received.
Denver Brews Cruise did respond to this email within a couple hours of the email entering our inbox. The notification did tell us about the delayed flight and did ask if the customer could switch to the evening tour to accommodate. Unfortunately the evening tour was fully booked and we were not able to move their reservation, which was also included in our response. Moreover, we also explained that due the to short time frame we could not refund for cancellation with in 24 hours of tour as many people were turned away for the tour that the customer was reserved. We did ask the customer to call us when they landed to see if they could join us mid tour. Also as a token,we did offer and made every effort to call those potential customers that were turned away to see if we could fill the seats to be able to refund the tour fare to this customer. We were not able to fill the seats.
We empathize with this customer as flight delays did throw a wrench in plans and the flight delays were of not fault of the customer or Denver Brews Cruise. Having very little time, and having a full evening tour, we made every effort to accommodate but was not able to do so.
Within and outside of policy, we do our best to work with every customer to accommodate as best we can when situations occur. Many times we are able to work around the hiccups that occur in daily life. Similar situations have come about in the past and there were many times we could fill seats to accommodate a refund, and many times we could not. Our apologies.

My bf and I are HUGE craft beer lovers and make it a point to drink as much of it whenever we travel to new places. Brent from Denver Brews Cruise makes the experience so much fun while being incredibly informative. You get to ride around in a van from a pub to 3 breweries with a large crew of fun-loving people. This is a MUST DO if you find yourself in the mile high city.

A couple of friends met me in Denver for my birthday weekend and wanted to find something different for the evening of my birthday. We found this event and decided it looked like a good time...this doesn't begin to explain the fun that we had on the trip. We had Rick our tour guide, but also got to meet Brent, the creator of this Brewscruise. We were late, our exit was closed and then we took the wrong turn 3 times, but they called me and let me know they would start and where to meet them. They were extremely accommodating and the entire experience was one of our best in Denver. Whenever I go back, I will be on this tour again.

I signed my boyfriend and I up for the 5:30 Brews Cruise on a Thursday evening. I had pretty high expectations since I have already done tours through the same company in Atlanta, GA and Asheville, NC. Brent was super nice and checked with us a few times to make sure he wasn't going too fast or too slow. We loved the first brewery, Breckenridge Brewing Co., and it was nice that they gave us a pint of our choice right off the bat to enjoy while Brent was talking. Samples were delicious and well-explained in terms of ingredients, process, etc. The second brewery, Wit's End, was a bit edgier (board games on the side for folks to play, Jurassic Park 2 playing on the TV), but we enjoyed those beers too. The third brewery was Black Sky, which I would not have remembered if I hadn't written it down. We all had had quite a bit to drink at this point, so I wish I'd saved some room for these beers, but the chocolate mint stout was different and delicious (if you like stouts). Overall, highly recommend this for a solid night out in Denver.

We were in Denver visiting family after Christmas and took the opportunity to get away and go on the Brews Cruise to get a sampling of some of Denvers different craft breweries. We had been on the Asheville Brews Cruise before and Brent's tour didn't dissapoint. We met at Pints Pub then went to Breckinridge, Wits End and Strange. It was a nice mix of styles and brewery sizes. As an avid homebrewer it's always good to see how different craft breweries operate. Brent is a great guide and can cater to different levels of beer knowledge. Our group had a mix of people from those that just liked beer all the two a brewer from a brew pub in another state. If you're a fan of beer I highly recommend going on the Brews Cruise.

We have a 9 yr old, can she attend with us?
Written October 6, 2016
Honestly I would say no. She would likely get bored because you go behind the scenes and drink beer. Our guide was hilarious...but there is a lot of listening and sipping. I don't think she would enjoy it much!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rick,
Thank you for your inquiry of Denver Brews Cruise. I do have some availability on all 3 of those days during GABF. Due to transportation license restrictions, I can only pick up at certain spots. Pints Pub located at 221 W 13th Ave is the pick up. Very convenient to downtown. Reservations may be made from my website, by clicking on the "Book It" button on the upper right side of page. If you would like to chat more, please email me. Cheers!
