A fun way to spend a snowy afternoon!
I wasn’t sure what to expect - I heard about light shows and music but really didn’t know what experience I would walk away with. I am pleasantly surprised! They use a coordinated light show and music - an eclectic mix of Pink Floyd and other classics. The reading is inspirational and puts you in a nice frame of mind. There isn’t any “indoctrination” or other oddball stuff so I would agree that it is family friendly and highly recommend.

It was such an amazing place! I definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Denver even if you dont smoke marijuana. Its just an overall unique and fun experience. The art is incredible and the rec room was a blast! So many different things to do here.

A unique place in Denver with a shady history prior to be becoming such a welcoming and open experience.

The basic tour for out of towners means you don’t get to enjoy cannabis on the property, but you get to check out the beautiful murals and decorations.

You get to check out the members hangout area, and the church is non denominational. Go to vibe and connect with each other!

The murals need no photo retouching, they just pop in every photo you take.

This place has such great reviews everywhere and is ranked as the #1 attraction in Denver. It's not even CLOSE, in my opinion. The concept of a massive brightly painted ceiling with a laser light show layered on top is fantastic and the execution of that portion of our visit was really cool. However, the music accompanying the show was so cliche to me, as we're the words. It wasn't a guided meditation at all. A few great quotes that I've heard many times before with pink floyd and jefferson airplane and all the lsd-related music from the 60s-70s. This is good music but it is so overplayed and cliche to someone like me, maybe bc I'm 49. Maybe it seems less cliche to a younger crowd? My clearest memory of it was how freezing it was inside the cavernous space where you're supposed to be transported. It was normal winter weather for Denver, but it was at least 50 degrees, if not 45 degrees (F) in the light show area where we all sprawled out on thinly padded wooden pews. There was some incredibly interesting furniture in the waiting room area as well as old video games. That was fun to see. The whole vibe of it reminds me of the type of "awesome" place that I would create with a bunch of friends if I were 22 and high 90 percent of the time. Some details were completely beautiful while big issues like heat and electrical cords and cleanliness were neglected. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't do it again or put it anywhere NEAR the top of the list of Denver attractions. It feels like the finest college project a group of highly creative and totally smacked 20 year olds could ever put together with a budget of four grand. If it were advertised that way, I would've been blown away, but it can't compete with professionally curated and professionally executed museums.

We are sorry we did not meet your lofty expectations. We are not a professionally curated museum with a multimillion dollar budget and millions in our endowment. Our entire Church was curated on a shoe-string budget with volunteers from our Church. BEYOND was created by 4 of our co-founders, who volunteered their time and energy into creating the experience. However, it appears you are in the minority as our reviews speak for themselves and people love our show and our church. Thanks for your review!

Really cool to stop in the International Church of Cannabis in Denver. The church is painted beautifully inside, the staff is very friendly, and there are games and activities inside. Worth sticking around to see the BEYOND show as well.

Not accessible. As everything I had seen in Denver already was very accessible, I didnʻt think to check beforehand. They had a phone number, but when I called it it was unavailable, so I couldn't even leave a message. The gift shop is up a set of steps. The door was open, but I could not get anyoneʻs attention. Not sure if anyone where there or not. There was a back door for deliveries, but it also was up a step or two. I could not get in. I was glad I hadnʻt pre-paid for my lightshow ticket, so I was just out my time. Had an interesting walk through neighborhoods and saw several people walking their dogs.

We apologize that we are not accessible to wheelchairs. This is a 125 year old Church that has no elevator, and we generally do our best to accommodate disabled guests by carrying them and their wheelchairs up the stairs. We attempted a fundraiser to raise money to put in an elevator to make it accessible, but we did not raise enough money as it costs well over six figures and we cannot afford to do so yet. We are hoping we can sometime soon, and we hope you will come back and visit us when we do.

The museum area was a great resting place while waiting for the show to start. I played Super Mario so the nostalgia was awesome! I enjoyed the light show. Totally relaxing and worth the experience. Will definitely come back!

Wow! This place is amazing, and no, we did not partake of "sacrament" on the premises. The gorgeously painted ceilings are even better when the light show starts. A great experience and if I lived in Denver, I would absolutely join this church.

This was an amazing experience!! It was so nice to meet Priscilla and learn about the church. The art in the church is absolutely stunning and the light show was awesome to watch. They are currently doing private appointments for small groups or couples, so it's perfect for families or dates! I went with my parents and husband and we had the entire chapel to ourselves-- what a special memory we will always have from this beautiful place!
I was impressed that they also offer masks and hand sanitizer, and do a very thorough cleaning job in between guests.

We were not really sure what to expect here but wanted to give it a try. We came for the light show which was pretty trippy but we wish we could have stayed for the service afterwards. It’s a cool spot and definitely worth a visit!
