About
Get out into one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine and head to the Historical Lower Downtown (LoDo) District of Denver. Learn how beer has obtained such a strong foothold in our state and discover for yourself why Denver has earned for itself the nickname "Napa Valley of Craft Beer." Tours last between 2-3 hours so prepare to hang out with a local beer aficionado and see if you have what it takes to stand up to our beer. During the 4 stops on our tour you will try 10 different beers, go behind the scenes to learn brewing process, visit a brewpub that began a nationwide franchise, drink in the brewery founded by the governor, and hang out in the best craft beer bar in Denver. Our tour guides drink with the best so ask them any questions you may have. All challenges accepted! Book now to secure your spot; if the tour is full please call our contact phone number to see if we can add you in. Don't miss out on Denver's gateway to craft beer!

This was the most fun I've ever had on a tour and I've been on many! Our tour guide, David, was extremely funny and very knowledgeable regarding craft Beer! This tour is a must do in Denver if you like beer and a good time! We got lucky and had a great group of people to tour with as well!

Really happy we booked this walking brewery tour! We began at Rock Bottom at the back bar, strolled on over to Wynkoop and Falling Rock Tap House, and wrapped it up at Breckenridge for some good beer and much needed food. Keep in mind....if you're not from Colorado, be sure two have a glass of water for every 2 beers you consume. The alcohol takes effect alot faster when you're a Mile High!

We literally hopped off the plane from Chicago, grabbed a quick (delicious!) lunch at Biker Jim's and started our tour. This tour was a great way to hit the ground running on our long weekend. First of all, it was 70 degrees outside - in February. We had just left 20 degree weather - walking around Denver, sipping beers was like manna from the Gods to us!

The tour itself was really fun and made even more fun by the altitude - we were tipsy quicker than we'd expected. We ended up visiting 4 breweries/brewpubs and trying between two and four samples at each. The tour guide, Bryce, was really good at picking a variety of samples and we were able to really get a feel for the huge array of beers brewed in Denver and the area.

Walking around on such a beautiful day only added to our enjoyment and we were able to take a little tour of the area, including seeing Coors Field. Bryce was able to provide some history on the Denver area and info on brewing, which was a fun addition to the basic tour.

My only complaint is that the tour wasn't even longer - though we definitely got our money's worth! There were some other great brewpubs in the area that we could have visited - maybe consider offering a longer/more expensive option for people who want to make a full day of it?

The staff is really nice and knowledgeable - I had to call to see if they could fit us in and the woman I spoke to couldn't have been more accommodating and pleasant. Thank you Denver Microbrew Tour for starting off our long weekend just right!

When I'd decided to visit Denver I'd heard afterwards that the city had a ridiculous amount of microbreweries. Being the "beer snob" I am, I decided to book a Saturday tour with Denver Microbrew. The price was really reasonable even if you opt to pay a bit more for the pint glass at the end. The tour started at Rockbottom (I'd been to one in Cincinnati so I was happy about this) and had maybe 20 people in total. The tour guide was really knowledgeable, friendly and clearly had a good rapport with all the microbreweries we went to. In total we sampled about 11 beers and went for a 12th with the free pint at the end. Definitely a really great time and, as an added bonus, you got to learn a bit about the city (and you walk right by Coors Field!).

My husband and I started our Denver trip with this tour on the Saturday noon tour. We had a drink-a-licious time! There was about 20 of us in the group and I think everyone was a tourist. It was great, we got to try 2-4 different beer samples at 4 local microbreweries. The tour guide was great and gave us a bit of history on each location and a description of each beer that we tried. The atmosphere the whole time of the tour was very laid back and there are many chances to get to know the other people on the tour. We were also given a sheet with all the breweries on it and a place to rate each beer. Then, at the end we could reflect on which beer we liked best and use the free beer coupon given to have a glass. This was a great tour and the tour guide was great and very informative (Ethan, i think his name was). I would definitely recommend this tour! It was nice to walk around the LoDo district and see what Denver has to offer and it gave us suggestions on what to do next. The 16th street mall, Larimer square, Tattered Cover, and the Rockies stadium are all right there. Just keep in mind that the tour will realistically take 3 hours and you'll need comfortable shoes!

My wife and I did the tour and loved it. It is a great way to see the city and try local beers. The tour guides were great and we really had a great time. We walked to all but one place, but they are short hikes and the whole city is flat so no stress. Highly recommend it.

As Jimmy Fallon put it, “thank you microbreweries for making my alcoholism seem like a neat hobby.” Come hang out with other hobbyists and check out some of the great beer made in Denver. This was an awesome tour and one of the best ways to see the city. I was surprised by how much beer we were able to try for the reasonable price. I would recommend starting any vacation to Denver with this tour so that you can get a taste of some places to visit later during your trip. The tour guide is engaging and really knows his beer and we had a great time with the other people on the tour. Everyone will enjoy this tour, whether you’re a home microbrewer yourself or if the only beer you drink is a keg of Key Light at the beer pong table.

Fabulous tour and way to explore downtown Denver while drinking some incredible beer! Our guide did a great job of explaining different types of beer too.
