If you are a car buff, this is the place to visit. The train car and engine collection is impressively presented in a small space. Getting up close to the engines gives you a great feel for their monstrous proportions. Look overhead and read the...More

This isn’t the easiest place to get to, and needed some planning as well as use of our SatNav, because it doesn’t seem to be in walking distance of anywhere, nor on a particularly convenient bus route. There were hardly any other visitors when we...More

I love going to car shows. Forney far exceeded my expectations, with a collection of cars (and bikes and even trains) that blew my mind. And the curators were friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very welcome and, in conversation with the people overseeing operations, my...More

Great experience. Friendly staff. Very low key. There was a very interesting combination of vehicles. Ranging from trains to cars to motorcycles. Very cool place.

The collection of antique automobiles is impressive, and there are many unusual, fascinating, and downright gorgeous specimens. They have a Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive ... indoors! Plus a rotary snow plow and some old passenger cars. A caboose outside is being restored with plans...More

This is a great museum with a big variety of antique cars, bikes, and other vehicles to look at. I'm not even that into cars and I really enjoyed it! The trains were neat to see as well. Worth a visit.

Loved looking at all the cars, trains, motorcycles, bicycles, of all types and ages! Going into the steam train to see all the controls was cool. The bicycles were very interesting. Worth a stop.

This is a smallish museum chock full of old cars and huge trains! They even have a few flying things in there. It's basically one big exhibition space. They have old carriages, old classic cars (like a Ford Model T), newer classic cars (60's and...More

I would not take children of those ages to this museum. The exhibits are to look at only with plenty of "Do not touch or you'll be asked to leave" signage. I saw no interactive exhibits and I suspect the kids wouldn't have... More
