Union Station as a rail transportation hub is amazing. The California Zephyr arrives twice a day, once from the west, once from the east. The regional light rail system has a very active presence at Union Station. Since the building is now a hotel, the Amtrak window was a little hard to find. (But I found it!!) The architecture is... This place had it all from a hotel, bar, restaurants, coffee, bookstore and trains. It's great because you can get on the RTD and in 40 minutes before attending Denver International Airport right by the Terminal. I stayed about a mile away from the station. There are tons of hotels in walking distance and Coors Field is right next to... More

Union Station is a fun place to visit and you don't have to be traveling to enjoy sitting in the station. There are restaurants such as Snooze, the Crawford Hotel and an amazing ice-cream parlor too. Even if you don't want to eat or drink, it is enjoyable just sitting on the comfortable couches and lounging around.

Very nice renovation. Things you can find inside -- a cool hotel, tourist information,an independent mini book store, a diverse offering of eats and drinks, lots of sitting room, the waiting room for the train to airport. Outside are interactive fountains that you can go in, more fun places to eat and drink. When we were there, there was a... More

Plug ins, water pad for Kids outside, burgers, breakfast, bar, etc... $4 per bag to check while you wait for your train. Added up with 8 bags, but nice to have an option when we checked out of hotel and headed to Cubs/Rockies game. Staff is friendly.

There are a couple stores and a bar. It can get pretty loud. Quite a bit of seating and free wifi. Would be a great place to meet up with people before venturing out into the city. Some friends took their children to run through the fountain that is outside in front. The kids had a blast .

Central location. Close to Coors Field, 16th street mall, downtown, etc. Pretty inside but not as big as like Grand Central Station or anything. Cute shops and good resturants and bars inside. Also a hotel inside. I hear there is a big Christmas tree in the center during winter that is a must see. Amtrak trains run through here so... More

Union Station is located in an interesting part of Denver. We enjoyed viewing the restored building and speaking with the concierge who was located inside the building. There are several business located inside; one of which is SNOOZE, which is a great breakfast restaurant (awesome pancakes!). I'd recommend getting a cup of coffee and just walking around there and the... More

This is nothing like Union Station in DC or Penn Station in NY. If you are headed to Coors Field for a game, i think stopping here for food or drinks is a good idea
