It is a nicely restored old train station with several dining options. It’s not really a must see but stop if you’re close.

When we first moved to Denver, in 1981, Denver Union Station was just a lovely, historic, old building. Not much was happening there, except at the eastern (well, sort of, as this section of “Downtown Denver” is laid out at about a 45 degree angle,...More

Denver Union Station is full of eateries and unique shops. I wish I could have had more time there because it’s larger inside than you’d expect. Lots of hustle and bustle but it’s got a happy atmosphere.

Union Station was great! A must stop while in Denver. James Beard award winning restaurant....interesting items to purchase. It was packed! A lovely bar, a deli, a bakery, a bookstore....and all amongst the travelers waiting for the train....great atmosphere...loved it here.

Though I have never taken a train ride from the Union Station, it's definitely on the bucket list. I have, however, spent time at the station, eating at 2 of their restaurants (Mercantile and Next Door Community Pub) and traveling to and from the airport....More

Below and behind union station are the regional buses. A great place to wait is the whole foods behind the bus terminal. They have a gear indoor eating area and a balcony with a great view of the union station neighborhood. There are outlets for...More

Totally safe. You would be fine walking to your hotel if it's not too far. If not, I suggest Uber rather than a cab as they are more available.
