- wupjakDenver, Colorado1 contributionExcellent experience start to finishWonderful business with welcoming and professional staff. This was our first escape room experience - Brother and Sister in law are expert level - so we had no idea what we were getting in to! There is clearly a well thought-out process involved in checking in guests, getting them ready for the experience, providing a memorable and fun game, and then the wrap up. We enjoyed every aspect of the time we spent with you and would recommend to others. Thanks!Visited October 2023Written October 24, 2023
- salzbrennerLa Junta, Colorado32 contributionsWe escaped...and then had lunch! We were in town for a quick birthday celebration/theatre weekend and met up with friends to do an escape room. When I searched for options, this was one I hadn't seen previously and thought the idea of the game combined with a restaurant/bar was genius! We had a great time and ESCAPED successfully and then enjoyed several appetizers and drinks. Great service, location and experience!Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 29, 2023
- Gus FBroomfield, Colorado52 contributionsBest family evening ever!Great concept! Perfect for our family with young adult children. We finished our escape room, which honestly was easier than we are used to but still creative and fun. We had dinner afterwards and it was one of the best family evenings we have had together in some time. They have numerous table games and wood puzzles distributed around the tables and the bar, so we grabbed a connect4 and chess set and played games throughout our meal., which was quite good, BTW You know how hard it can be to get a 17yo and 19yo sibling to get along sometimes, but tonight there was not even one hint of conflict and we all had a great time. Highly recommended.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 30, 2023
- Molly L2 contributionsAwesome night for 40 at EscapologyOur work group did a team event here and Escapology was AWESOME!!! We had the best time. The night was very organized, the space was large enough for all 40 of us, the rooms were so fun and challenging and were great for team building, and the taco bar was a huge hit. Great experience all around. I will definitely be back!!Visited March 2024Traveled on businessWritten March 7, 2024

We really enjoyed the experience, but it was very pricey for only one hour of entertainment.
Parking was difficult to find, and its surrounded by downtown Denver tent city homeless.
The escape room was clean, but the laminated sheets and items in the room were sticky and very well used.
This staff was super nice, and made the experience better.
Would we go back? Only if they lowered the price to make it more affordable. We would go back and do all the rooms.

This is my third escape room and my favorite so far! The highlights are: it wasn't as hard as some of the others and there is a bar!
Some of the others I've visited felt impossible for me. After one experience when we didn't escape and we learned some of the clues, there was no way we were solving them! That was a defeating realization. But Escapology was difficult but do-able! We actually escaped at Escapology!
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the game was a lot of fun! It's a small space, so not overly accommodating for people using wheelchairs and I would suggest wearing comfortable clothes. I found myself sitting on the ground working on a lock for several minutes.
The biggest attraction was the bar. I know you probably shouldn't have cocktails before solving a mystery, but it makes it more fun. (Or, you can wait until after your great escape!) And, they are cool themed cocktails!

Well thought out puzzles and so entertaining. Worth every penny to keep us all engaged and interacting. Every one in the group “played” a part in solving the puzzle. We escaped with 5 minutes to spare. Loved it so much went back and escaped again. Super clean, they take Covid precautions and it made us all comfortable. Game Master Sean was so kind and helped when we asked. Best part about Sean was his clues. You could tell he was paying attention so he could help without giving us something we already knew or making it less interesting. Puzzles were hard but not impossible. Rooms were a great mix of the storyline, traditional locks, and some unique and inventive ones. It was nice to be an a well thought out escape room. Beverages and food were a bonus and surprise - both tasty and not overpriced. We’re pumped to go back and try another room! Would highly recommend!

We did the Budapest Express escape room and had a fun time. The game was just the right level of difficulty - the Escapology website gives it a difficulty rating of 8.5 out of 10 We had 6 adults and a fair amount of escape room experience and it took us 50 minutes to solve (with a couple of hints). I think if you had 4 or 5 experienced solvers it might be better than 6, just because it's hard to know what the other people are figuring out when there are so many in the room. The design of the room was very realistic and well-built, with a good variety of puzzles to figure out. And the rest of the Escapology facility was great with a bar and restaurant available (although we didn't eat there) and a comfortable place to wait for time to start our room. I would go again sometime and maybe stay for dinner next time! I was also impressed with the cleanliness, social distancing, hand sanitizer and mask-wearing in the public areas while we're still dealing with Covid.

We were in town visiting a family member and decided to do the Budapest Express escape room. It was a wonderfully detailed, very immersive room. We've done several rooms in other places and found this to be a nice challenge with wonderfully varied puzzles. Room limit is 6 people and we had 5 in our group, which at times, seemed very crowded for the space. My only complaint is that the directional lock kept sticking and had to be tried several times with the right combination before it would unlock.

What a great place. I havn’t done an escape room before and I am so glad that there were people in our room that had. My roommates were great and four out of six of us or experienced.
On that clue, I was clueless, LOL. It was fun to see how the game worked. We did make it out with over eight minutes remaining so the next time I do something like that I will be better prepared to use my brain.
I have to say, I love the steam punk theme how it was put together was incredible. The people that designed this place definitely have talent.
Food, it was incredible. I want to go back to this location even if I don’t do an escape room I want to sit and have a glass of vine and eat this incredible food. I was so impressed on what they prepared for the event.
The people that run the show are so nice. I WOULD recommend it and I will tell my friends about this place.

What a fun experience with friends. We did the Code room, and escaped! The room was challenging and fun, and we all thought the game was well designed. The whole Escapology space is very cool and love that it’s a bar for drinks beforehand and a restaurant for dinner after. A real destination for an evening. The food was great and the service top notch. We’ll be back!

We went to Solutions for my Birthday this past weekend and had a great time! Their drinks were delicious, the escape room was incredibly intricate (Mansion Murder) and their food was super yummy. They were also very accommodating with our larger group and the timing of everything. We definitely will be back in the future to try another room.

This was my first escape room, was a really cool environment with all the steampunk decor. The room we completed was the hacker one and we were able to finish with 20 min left. Good difficulty level.

On March 18th, my group of adult friends and I tackled the "Mansion Murder" room. Overall, the room was fantastic! We had one problem, though, that left us frustrated. We had one puzzle solved, yet the lock didn't open. When this has happened at other escape rooms, the game-master will typically stop the clock, enter the room and spring the lock. Instead, we spent several minutes trying to trouble-shoot the problem. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that the situation could have been resolved differently (e.g., give us a coupon or a 50% off code for our next visit). Had this problem not arose, I would have given Escapology 5/5 because it really is a great place.

Yes, our restaurant and lounge is wheelchair accessible. Most of the rooms would be do-able with a wheelchair as well. Please feel free to call us for a more detailed response!

Hi Jean, any children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Ages 12 and up are welcome to try the escape rooms on their own!
