Denver Art Museum has a sizeable collection of art that they are constantly changing out--keeping things interesting. The museum does have free days that you can look up online. It has the two buildings of art, so it may be difficult to see everything in...More

We were drawn to the DAM - as the locals seem to say - because of the architecture - most specifically the extension that looks like a misshaped triangle. There is a real assortment of exhibits and exhibitions. Personally I didn't warm to the women...More

Love many of the visiting exhibits as well as the ongoing permanent ones. Also fun to explore your own creative skills when these opportunities are offered on the 1st floor. Easy parking - fee. Very nice gift shop.

This is a beautiful museum, with lots of different areas of art. The marble scupture of the veiled woman is always my favorite.

Just wandering around is a treat. We came specifically to see an exhibit of early western photography, but were drawn to so many other exhibits that we spent more than 4 hours just taking in what we could. This is truly a gem and a...More

Worth a visit, particularly on a 100+ degree day where the cool interior was a welcome relief. A bit of an odd mixture in terms of a collection, but the native American artifacts were worth seeing. A traveling exhibit of female abstract expressionists was also...More

As a frequent museum visitor in various cities, I always enjoy going to this museum--has pleasant vibes, great location, and excellent Pallettes restaurant. This museum has two buildings, and just across a small path is another museum worth seeing--makes a nice afternoon.

Interesting, well curated exhibits with lots of variety inside a really unique building. While the museum is very large (I was able to spend easily several hours admiring the exhibits), my only disappointment was that it lacks any renowned pieces. Nevertheless, its variety and array...More

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. We bought tickets online beforehand. We only waited 10 minutes or so. They monitor how many folks can start the exhibit at a time. Waiting wasn't an issue. Also, you are free to roam... More
