My wife and I spent about 3 hours at the museum and it was fantastic. The special exhibits were a little pricey but worth it! The planetarium show that we saw was an amazing 20 minutes. Really enjoyed it all.

Has reservations for IMAX presentation and left home one hour in advance to get to the museum. Two unforeseen traffic accidents on our route delayed our drive by 50 minutes. We only had our confirmation # because the museum's e-mail system was down so we...More

Great museum, really neat displays. Staff gets you really involved in the action. And a beautiful view of the mountains from a walkway in front. And bonus, the cafeteria food is awesome--the grilled sandwiches were yummy & reasonable.

If you simply can't afford to go to the museum otherwise, then by all means, take advantage of the free day. That said, it is a total zoo on free day and I can confidently say you'll get more out of your visit when its less... More
