This is a good sized aquarium with plenty of exhibits for any animal lover to enjoy. They even have a tiger exhibit that is very large with levels for the tigers to traverse. We opted for two behind the scenes meet and greet tours with a sloth and a bintourong. These were the highlight for us as we got to... More

We enjoyed our visit to the aquarium - it especially focused to families and children. A large number of displays and some very large species on display. I would like to see the labeling of displays to be clearer. Labels are in between tanks, so hard to tell if the species was to the left or the right of the... More

This aquarium is not bad and has variety of fish from different area. It even has a beautiful tiger! However it wasn't anything outside of the ordinary.

We got there right before 7pm and they're open until 9, but the first part of the aquarium we walked through was so difficult to see, they didn't have any lights to see into the tanks or any backlighting around the first fish exhibits or the otter exhibit and you're basically forced to use the natural lighting so if you... I decided to take my friend to the aquarium since she had never been there before, this was my second time going to the Denver Aquarium (My first visit was about 5 years ago) and we were not impressed. We paid around $50.00 including taxes, tickets for 2 adults, and parking. The lady at the main entrance (where you purchase... More

The amount of fish that were there it was not worth the $19.50 for going into the aquarium and $7.00 for parking. They had a lot of fish I have seen at normal zoos. I really enjoyed the big tank with all the sharks. It had a nice layout. But I walked it in less than a hour. Might be... More

Small and not what was expected; there was not a wide variety of sea life. Atypical fish, exhibits had poor upkeep. The best part was being able to interact with the stingrays.

The Denver Downtown Aquarium has fish and even a tiger, but it just doesn't deliver the experience other great aquariums do. It's definitely places second to the outstanding Children's Museum next door. Maybe that's unfair, but if you only have time to go to one and have young kids or grandchildren, pick the Children's Museum.

In downtown Denver this is a great experience for young kids. Ww are taking a second generation of our family with our grandkids. That twice as nice the second time around because the grandkids go home at night. (sometimes)
