When on vacation my brother took me to the aquarium. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it because of the amount of walking involved. But to my surprise the exhibits were the distraction I needed to forget about the walking. I fell in love...More

The Denver Downtown Aquarium is a great family attraction. They have great deals that include some extra attractions like the 4D theatre, pet the sting rays and munchies. Fun and Learning in the same place.

I must say best aquarium I’ve been too by far! Really enjoyed all of the fish and the set up. My husband and I randomly came across this place and we really enjoyed it.

Overcrowded fish tanks. Many fish sick or injured. Very unhappy tiger in a small enclosure with no fresh air. Otters likewise. Also rather expensive. Will not be back.

We had a lot of fun exploring the aquarium! There are so many amazing fish and marine life. The only downside is the line to get in is outside and there are no heaters or tents to block the cold. I could see this being...More

Downtown Aquarium is an interesting, fun place to go for all ages. You walk through it at your own pace, reading information about the fish in each area. There are mermaids swimming with some of the fish. There are otters, sea turtles, a parrot and...More

Hello! I don’t believe they check bags. You may call and verifying, but I don’t remember this occurring. Have a great time.

Negative... A few of the smaller aquariums are actually open on top And I think they are extra cautious about contamination from the outside..
