Tattered Cover has an incredible selection and still manages to feel a bit like your cozy living room. The building is beautifully repurposed here and feels quiet even situated as it is on Colfax. With the garage, we’ve always found parking. My kids have grown up with evening visits in their pjs. We’ve moved on from board books to YA novels and still enjoy our trips to TC. We’ve been to author visits/signings and always felt they were well-handled. We love Tattered Cover!

I have always loved a good book store. I can get lost for hours in everything it can offer and the Tattered Cover is no exception. They have lots of comfortable seating, a coffee bar and no one rushing you to leave. You can pick a book and relax or browse for hours. If you can't find the book you are looking for, you simply ask one of the helpful employees. The Tattered Cover is passionate about books!

My goodness. This place has it all and I mean it does have it all. Any book, choice seating, helpful staff, a coffee bar, and more awaits the person who wanders inside.

I make it a point to find local bookstores wherever I travel and this was my choice in Denver. It was worth the visit. It wasn't too big to be overwhelming and large enough to have options. I went with my mom and we both walked out with purchases. If you're wandering around LoDo, it's definitely worth a stop.

The best bookstore in the Denver! They have everything you need here and plenty of couches and chairs to read your books in. It's a wonderful place. Lots of books for all ages and a great kid section too to keep your kids entertained.

This is a classic bookstore which is perfect for browsing. The atmosphere is conducive to searching for and perusing books; and rather like being in a library the customers tend to speak very quietly. The coffee shop adds to the delight of relaxing with a book in a comfortable seat. Although the busy 16th Street Mall is nearby this book shop offers a change of pace and is very much a haven of tranquility. Highly recommended!

I was visiting Denver with girlfriends for a run, we visited this store 3 times during out stay! The staff was helpful and what a great place to browse. I bought a few books and a puzzle plus some gifts.

Sales legend wrote Foreword to my book.
No respect was shown. Wouldn't let me come to discuss
book signings. I am a local author. 15 LinkedIn
"influencers" contributed to my book with quotes,
comments, stories and perspectives. Local authors
are made to feel 2nd rate contributors. I will have
more success at Barnes & Noble.

I came across this shop on a walk and I'm so glad I did. They have a wonderful selection of not only books, but also postcards and other little gifts. I ended up treating myself to several good finds, and I had a lovely conversation with the cashier.
