I did enjoy going to this place as it was so old and full of cool things to look at. We rode one ride and thought we were going to need a wheelchair we were so banged up for the roller coaster. Dang, we hurt!...More

We went on a Sunday night, thought this would be a perfect way to end our summer. For a $100 for a family of four, this was super expensive. Especially since some rides were broken down, there is trash all over the place, weeds, muddy...More

I had driven by this place hundreds of times and always wanted to stop in, at least to walk around and see an amusement park along a lake, take a stroll during the sunset or twilight. I went with my daughter, my niece and her...More

This is a very historic park but it is really falling apart and neglected. I don't see how this place can sustain itself for many more years at this rate of neglect. There are rides that have been partially disassembled with just the skeletal remnants...More

We go every year and I grew up going to this park. It is such a rarity and the owners are longtime family members who believe in keeping it open for the public and making it affordable (you can even bring your own food!) If...More

Friendly place that is a bit run down but the people running the rides were friendly and helpful. Something rare when it comes to amusement park employees. The rides are getting old and in need of repair. All in all it was cheap entertainment.

Once a year, we use our coupons our grand daughters have earned at school or through the library reading program to come and ride the rides all day long. Love the classic feel of Lakeside Amusement Park.

So I am from Colorado, and recently moved back after being away for over 25 years. I always loved Lakeside since it was a cheaper more laid back version of Elitch Gardens. We decided to pack up the kids and take them for an evening...More

This is awesome place! Very run down but a fun place to take the kiddos. Bathrooms are horrible. I wish someone would sink a little money in it to make it cool again! Love all the old rides! The girl who does the Matterhorn ride...More

Sure, it may be a little worn, even a tad on the shabby side, but where else in the world will you find a park initially constructed during the turn of the century golden age of trolley parks, generously updated during the 1930s Art Deco...More

Well, yes, they do have restrictions on taking pictures. If you are taking "family" shots, that's okay. But, if you are taking pictures of the park, the architecture, or anything but other people, they do not allow it... More
