I just visit Lakeside for the first time, and I am in love. This park is one of the oldest amusement parks left standing, and has an amazing collection of rare rides. The Cyclone is super fun, and the view while you ride it is stunning. The park is an excellent value. Just a few dollars for entry and a... More

The rides are below average. The games are below average. The food and other concessions are below average. So why do I give this place 3 stars? Well i'll tell you. The experience is worth 5 stars. The park is totally diliapidated and from a bygone era. I have a theory that this park will slowly close each ride, game... More

This was my favorite amusement park as a child and in a way seeing all the old rides brings back a great nostalgia to childhood. However it is sad to see the run down parts of the park. The food is also not good. You get what you pay for and its the best for little children as they still... More

As a child, I used to love this place. It's so run down, dirty, needs paint and a lot TLC. Many rides looked unsafe or weren't working at all. It's affordable for the kids, but you get what you pay for.

This lovely old-school amusement park will transport you back to the 90s with the old-school rides. Prices are great/affordable, nice to go when the Sun goes down. Great for couples, singles, families!

I always liked Lakeside since it was cheaper than Elitches and is easier to get too than Six Flags. Rocky Mountain park is right across the street for some picnic fun

This place is not as big as Denver's main amusement park but it retains lots of character. Take the kids on the little train that circles the lake.

This place is almost an anachronism. It still looks pretty much the way I remember it looking way back in the 1970's, and they still have one of the last "wooden" roller coasters on its original site in the entire United States. Traveling to this place is like traveling through time. It is also inexpensive - pay as you go.

This is a place to visit around dusk and enjoy the lights coming on, it's better at night. The train around the lake is great for young kids and the young at heart. Look, it's not a Six Flags or Elitches type place. This is retro, barely getting by, but the price is right (watch for coupons), the lines rarely... More

Despite living in Colorado my whole life, I had never been to Lakeside before. Although it's no Elitch Gardens and there really isn't a massive number of rides or things to do, it is a fun place to be. The rides that do exist are classic and you definitely get an old-fashioned amusement park vibe. It does get a bit... More
