Phil Goodstein is a delightful, albeit unusual, and captivating speaker. His knowledge of the history of the capitol hill neighborhood, Denver, and Colorado is astonishing and he weaves in interesting ghost stories as you walk around the area. He speaks clearly and loud enough for those of us who have a little trouble hearing. We were lucky to have a beautiful fall evening for the tour - it was a special evening that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Victorian mansions and ghost stories.

Brook was a superb guide and has an extensive knowledge of the lore surrounding the Lower Downtown area of Denver. He is very engaging and adds a theatrical flair to his telling of the supernatural tales from Denvers past. Highly recommended!

Perhaps one of the most fascinating tours of Denver! The guide, Brook, is very knowledgable not only about Denver's haunted areas and paranormal anecdotes but Denver's history in general. My favorite thing about the tour was how engaging it was, and how open to questions, etc. the guide was. Brook is also a fantastic storyteller, so not only was the tour content fascinating, it was captivating.

Check this tour out, and you'll learn some of the fascinating histories of Denver not typically found in textbooks!

A last minute decision on my last night in Denver & boy was I impressed. Our small group was led by Rachel who was amazing, her knowledge & enthusiasm for the history & ghostly stories of the City made it an event I won't forget. I've done 1 other ghost tour before in Melbourne Australia, I'd give that a 2 where this was definitely a 10 out of 10, I couldn't have asked for more information, spiritual or worldy. I'm not really a believer but hard to explain somethings, especially the chair under the grate at Union Station!
Great few hours & worth every dollar 👌🏼

I went on this tour with some friends because we thought it would be fun to go out on Friday the 13th. Well, if I didn't believe in the bad luck of that day before, I do now. I want to be as nice as possible because I understand that they just started doing tours again after COVID, so I understand that this may be a rocky start. But there were many places on this tour that we could not go into; the tunnels are blocked off now for some reason, the Tattered Cover with a ghost inside is now closed so we stood on the streetcorner and listened to the story, we couldn't go into the attic of the Union Station despite the fact that some creepy stuff happens up there. It seemed like we were getting second or third-hand information. I probably could have found creepier stories online and given the tour to my friends in a more entertaining way. If our tour was on Sesame Street, our word of the night would have been "nefarious," because that's how everything was described.

On top of those annoyances, we got to use cat balls which never actually turned on (I get they can't control that), but at the end of the tour after they already concluded, they suddenly pulled out a thermal image detector and spirit box as people were leaving. Why would they not pull out the spirit box when they were talking about them earlier? We had a whole story that revolved around the spirit box, so why not use that as an accessory to the story? The tour ended a half hour early so it's not like we didn't have time.

Most of the fun of this tour came from making jokes with my friends and a couple of the random employees who were funny, but that was all impromptu, as they were just doing their jobs and ran into us.

Some tips for the future of this tour:

1. Don't use an electronic device to show images. If you're going to have images, print them out. Not only is it creepier, but you're not going to need to worry about malfunctions (especially if you believe that ghosts can cause those malfunctions).

2. Use your spirit box and other equipment throughout the tour, not just the cat balls. They were fun the first time, but they got old pretty quick and having the other devices taken out at the tail end was not helpful, nor fun.

3. Change your route. If some of the places are blocked off that you used to go through, then find another way. It's boring to stand on the sidewalk and hear what's behind a door you can't go into or stare at a metal square on the ground that we can't enter.

This tour is a blast! I love haunted history, and the tour guides made it fun with their fantastic story telling. I've lived in Colorado most of life, yet I got to see some sides of Denver that I've never seen. Rachel and another gal were our guides and you can tell they truly enjoy what they are doing! Highly recommend for people who are new to Denver or anyone who wants to feel a little spooky.

Tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. There was a good varitety of places visited and really interesting sites. Great event for something different and well worth the time, lots of fun. Be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately. Springtime at night can be cold in Denver.

This tour was interesting. You hear a lot of ghost stories but there isn’t much hunting for ghosts. The tour lasts 2 hours and you do a lot of walking throughout downtown Denver. Danni and Rachel were our tour guides, and they did a great job. They had little balls that light up if “spirits” are in the room. The balls lit up a few times during the tour, but other than that there were no ghost findings. It was a nice way to kill a few hours and see older parts of Denver while hearing entertaining stories.

The tour seemed promising at first but then it got uncomfortable. We had to go through heavily packed busy businesses, every time the guides talked it was very difficult to hear them due to how many people were around walking by us, random drunk people passing by actually made the tour humorous with their unexpected drunken chatter. Staff from each business constantly passing by and having to squeeze in through tight corridors due to staff and customers passing by. Every time we asked the tour guides a question the response we got was, "that was a great question, I don't have any information on that", or "that's another good question, I don't know the name of the person who died here but I will do some research" They threw around different dates from 1800's to 1950's but nothing specific beyond the stories they told us, they had the stories memorized but not the names of the victims that supposedly died in gruesome detailed ways, but no names? I knew I shouldn't have gone out on Friday the 13th, nothing but bad luck and this tour was the true definition of bad luck. Every location we visited was mostly in the public areas where staff and customers passed by and were only shown the door to the locations that were cut of from public access. No tours in the underground tunnels only a visit to one or two entrances, not even opened the door, lame tour. And to rub it in they take out an thermal camera, voice recorder, and few other equipment to use at the end of the tour, that should have been taken out throughout the tour. Don't take this tour just go to a corn maze or haunted house or watch a movie, much better option.

Rachel and Cassandra were such gracious and knowledgeable hosts. I enjoyed learning so much about the city I’ve lived in for the past decade. The paranormal happenings in the last room we were in was wild and grabbing cocktails in the Cruise Room really polished off the night. Definitely recommend this tour!
