Nordic skiing in Crested Butte is world class. The trails are maintained and always in fantastic condition. The scenery is off the charts. Hands down our families favorite place. Nordic ski rentals and trail passes only runs $42 total for adults and under adults are FREE! Both trail pass and equipment, the deal of the century. Enjoy, but don't tell... More

We took a break from skiing and found the Nordic Center to play in for the day. There is a hill to sled on (bring your own sled). If you didn't bring a sled with you, then check out TrueValue to see if they may have some in stock. We spent our time on the ice rink - all by... More

The guys working there were very nice and accomodating. We were first time cross country skiers. It would have been nice if they had suggested taking a lesson at their center, as it wasn't as easy as they made it sound! So, if you're a novice, take a lesson!

My family took a trip up to CB this past January and it was wonderful! We looked into some "non-ski" activities for a few days and we were very pleased by all the options at the Nordic Center! We rented snow shoes 2 different days and hiked a couple of trails in the area - they were breathtaking! They also... More

The people at this business are friendly, informed & willing to take the time to explain the area and best trails and to make sure all gear fits and is appropriate for each individual.

We feel this Center is one of best for variety of styles of trails and evaluations plus your personal abilities. They really know how to groom them and design them here. We tried all three and loved them all for their experiences and views of mountains surrounding us as we ski. The air is clean and refreshing!

What. A. Night. As part of our winter adventures in Colorado, we were seeking out an unusual, memorable experience for New Years Eve. As part of my research, I found that many companies were offering dinner experiences in yurts. What caught my eye about the Crested Butte experience was the added perk (or challenge, depending on how you see it!)... More

My son and I wanted to skate. The ice was really nice, covered, and they had flexible open skate times. They rent skates as well. We also borrowed sleds from a friend in town and went sledding. Super fun, good exercise.

All if the people who work there have the expertise you need/want. A day of Nordic skiing or snow shoeing is a great break from downhill. Kids under 17 get a free pass and rentals are reasonable. Ask about a lesson with your pass.
