This year we actually took the chair lift up (instead of hiking up) and then hiked to the top of Mt. Crested Butte. Hike is a great work out. It does get very rocky towards the top, with lots of loose rocks. We then decided to hike down the mountain. It is a distance, but easy and worth the extra... More

Ski season is the best--very few lines during the week. Lift staff always friendly, post trivia questions, laugh at wrong answers. Slope side eateries are all good. Wide variety of housing options. I like the terrain and will even do the back bowls when the snow is premium. Only complaint is the ski patrol very seldom crack down on the... More

My group had a great day here mountain biking. We did both xc and down hill. Enjoyed the music and races they had on a Wednesday night. Trails are in great shape. Nice to take a lift up instead of pedaling up the mountain.

Most ski resorts are are a bit lost without snow but not here. We visited in the summer and really enjoyed walking around the shops in Crested Butte, the Main Street shops are really colourful and lots of individuality. Then drove up to Mount Crested Butte and took the Silver Lady ski lift for stunning views from the scenic view... More

This is at the base of the mountain...a bus or car ride up from the town of Crested Butte. Quite a few hotels and condos available here and much closer to the mountain than staying in town. I'm torn whether I would stay here again or in town on my next visit.

Anything you need is in this area. It is a small town into itself-like most ski resorts. A fabulous ski lift package in the summer. Incredible biking trails! Fabulous hiking atop the Silver Queen to Mount Crested Butte with VIEWS and lots of wildlife! The facilities were clean and well kept, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The suites... More

This old mining town has had a rebirth. Most of the building on Main Street have been completely restored to their original look and house all kinds of retail establishments, bars, restaurants, curio shops.

What I like about CB is that it's understated and won't grow a lot more to become an over gentrified town. It's kept some of its funky feel over the years and is easy to negotiate. Go up the mountain lift and get a perspective of the town and Buttes. Really amazing place and views. I'd come here before Aspen... More

Last year we booked 6 kids at the adventure park. Ropes course was closed. This year we booked 7 kids for the adventure park. They were all SO excited to do the bag jump. The bag jump was closed due to a rip in it, but I purchased the tickets anyway as we were told it should be up and... More

Dear BuydNeW, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We are incredibly sorry to hear about your Adventure Park experience as we always strive for our guests to have an excellent time. The BagJump did need maintenance which was unforeseen and we worked to get that maintenance done quickly, but understand this impacted some of our guests. We encourage you to... More

Best fire works show ever! Killer band at the mountain base by the lifts before the light show. All ages. Lots of dogs. Super family friendly. Lovely not To be sweating on July 4th! Morning temp, 47. Afternoon high of 76!
