This was a donations voluntary museum, no charge to visit. The history is fascinating and to see actual items from people I had read about as a kid was pretty exciting. (I was not impressed with the basement level, I thought it would have more school/teacher items, mostly just pictures of graduating classes. Overall, I would take people to visit this museum.

A must see if you are in Craig. We truly enjoyed walking around this museum and viewing the historical artifacts they have in their collection. I was also impress with the handicap accessibility of the place, there is an elevator and a lift to help assist into the Railroad Room, not something I find at some of these older buildings.

Loved the interesting vignettes about some of the outlaws from the Wild West...Fossils were interesting, the time it took to take a stage coach to various places was fascinating, saddles/bridles/guns were mildly amusing,..and the history of the area was very well done. The building alone was beautiful. ...and of course, it is free!
