Lee Valley White Water Centre was host to the London 2012 Olympic Games and you can now experience a range of activities at this venue. Rafting the Olympic course is a must for anyone ticking things of their bucket list! You'll get several runs down the course. We progressively up the fear factor each time and by your final run you’ll be surfing, high siding, spinning and nose dunking with the very best!

You can also choose from our range of other white water activities and a choice of canoeing and kayaking sessions, from family paddling on our lake to mastering our two white water courses.

Excellent morning doing white water rafting for the first time. Tony was an excellent instructor and we did 5 runs each more fun and hair raising lol. Facilites are great, food and drink very well priced and good quality. The seated terraced area is lovely.

Such a fantastic experience! We came here on a team bonding day and loved every minute. The inflatable assault course was loads of fun, but the highlight was by far the white water rafting. Having never done anything like this before, I was a little nervous, but I instantly felt at ease with our instructor Patrick. He talked us through... More

We've just completed the Paddle Sport Development Intensive Weekend (Level 1) with instructors Joey and Alex. From the get-go they were encouraging, informative, fun and really got the whole group motivated and got the best out of everyone. I cannot fault them at all. Infact we're looking at signing up for the next level as it was so good and... More

I enjoyed the deck, it had a great vibe and it was a nice place to hang out with my friends. However, I did not care at all for the rafting. I felt it was way too serious for what it was. Being an avid rafter, I was not pleased with the "assigned seating" on the raft and I felt... More

Thank you for your review. We’re pleased you enjoyed your time with your friends at the centre. However, we are sorry to hear that you felt the rafting did not match your level of experience. We do have a high number of first time rafters so we aim to make sure we have a strong emphasis on the safety procedures... More

Spent 2 days on the lake learning the basics of kayaking. Alex and Joey are awesome instructors, professional, charismatic and vastly knowledgeable (of course) Couldn't of asked for any more from either of them or from the course itself. Give them a pay rise! ;) Look forward to learning lots more at lee valley.

Dear Lee Valley Leisure Trust The Lee Valley White Water Centre is a fantastic facility, a legacy of the Olympics funded by public money. The ratings for the white water activities seem great. My review is about the standard of service and food at the restaurant and bar. The restaurant and bar are large, modern and wonderful. An expensively fit... More

A group of seven of us went for a friends Birthday and had a great time! Took a picnic and enjoyed it while watching others kayak and raft down the Rapids. When it came to our turn we had Tony 'from Brazil' as our instructor. Tony was a great guy who knew exactly how to make us laugh and kept... More

Tony from Brazil did our briefing. He made sure we were all happy with the activity and we had great fun. They matched our group of five with a single lady who was 40 so we were all the same level of thrill seeker. We all had great fun. It might interest some people to know that the changing rooms...
