This was too slow for a family with teens. It started out with a practice area where you get used to the sleds and speed around the corners so we were disappointed when during the actual tour we didn't go over 10 MPH and I...More

Thanks for sharing your observations on the Prospector Family Tour. This tour does include singles and doubles and there might be young children carried as passengers on a parent's sled. It's meant to be a scenic ride and most folks love it. The views are...More

I’ve been on several snowmobiling adventures over the year, but this tops them all. From the people at the front desk, to the guides themselves, everything was simply wonderful. We went snowmobiling with our guide, Catfish, who was AMAZING! He got to know everyone in...More

Incredible half day activity in the Breck/ Copper Mtn area. We were picked up by the free van and the driver Scott was so great. Safe, polite, informative. He also provides snacks for the ride home. Efficient check in and after a quick safety talk,...More

They offer family and performance rides. We chose the performance. They give you lessons to ride and let you get used to the machine before tackling the mountain climb. It’s fast. It’s straight up and down. It’s cold. It’s amazing it’s a must do on...More

We had a group of 10 family members and enjoyed every minute of it. NONE of us had ridden a snowmobile and this place did a fabulous job or teaching us, letting us work the machines, and then then the VIEWS!!! Amazing time.!!! HIGHLY recommend.

Just got back from Keystone (5 Replies)
This was our first trip to Colorado. I chose Keystone because of the kid friendly enviroment I saw online. I traveled my husband and our 18 year old and 4 year old. We all had a wonderfull time. We stayed at the Red Hawk Lodge #2212 which was a 3 minute walk from the Village and had a view of the slopes from our patio. It was also great to see the Saturday night fireworks from our patio. Both kids loved the tubing which was well worth the $31 per person/per hour. The kidtopia ice fort was...More

Thanks for the report. I love that Keystone has brought back the Sat night fireworks, they had stopped for awhile. Sorry you were disappointed in the Stube, it is one of my favorite places, perhaps an off day? Glad the tubing was a hit. I think it is super fun. I have never had the Joy Juice but have heard from others that it packs a punch! Sunday was the best skiing so far this year! Great timing. Hope to see you back next year. Curious how did you rent your condo?

Snowmobiling Options (0 Replies)
What companies would you recommend in the Copper area for snowmobiling? I read about White Mountain Tours on the "Things to Do" section of the site, but I can't get a feeling one way or the other. My wife will want to ride with me, but we also don't want just a boring 10 mph trip through snow. We want to be able to climb some mountains, see some wildlife, and catch a few thrills. Which companies would you suggest?
