Wonderfully restored lighthouse that sits at just over 140 feet. Its about a 1/4 mile walk to the lighthouse and can be very buggy depending on the weather...so be sure to wear your bug spray. Only so many people are allowed to the top at any given time so you may need to wait in line a bit before climbing... More

Beautiful restored lighthouse.....the view from the top is lovely....admission is free....the bugs are fierce here and the little toads are very cute...def worth it to stop by....there are several landings where you can take a break on your way up.

This lighthouse has so many informative plaques as you climb the stairs. I thought for sure I wouldn't be scared of this one since the stairs are solid instead of a grate (so you can't see straight down as you climb) but they're still slat stairs so it's not totally vertigo-proof. They have a great system of handing you a... More

Great stop on the way to the beach. Check the schedules, lighthouse is not always open to climb and you have to pay a fee. Great view from the top!

Very high and a lot of stairs. Get ready for a sweat! Remember to take water and breathe! The view up at the top is awesome!

The trail out to the lighthouse is short and a easy. Just make sure to bring your bug spray (or pick it up in the visitor's center) because the mosquitoes are pretty bad. Only a certain number of people are allowed at the top at once so you may have a short wait. There are 175 steps to the top... More

This is a beautiful lighthouse in a picturesque setting. Parking was simple; albeit limited, but it's probably more than sufficient most of the time. Easy walk through a wooded area to the lighthouse - BUT the mosquitos are no joke. Don't forget the bug spray! At any point I might have had 7 or 8 mosquitos landed on my arms... More

It's a lighthouse.... you climb about 175 steps.... the view is ok... 3/4th of the view is marshlands, rest you can see strips of the sea.... The place is swarming with mosquitoes...so have the bug sprays handy....you need to wait in line to go in as only limited no of people can be in at any point in time.
