Having rented Segways in San Francisco before for self guided tour of Polo Grounds and surrounding area I was a but skeptical about having a guided tour. Turns out our guides were a lot of fun and shared a lot of information about Colorado Springs and the area. They allowed my son to make numerous stops for him to take a lot of pictures for his web site. VERY accommodating in that regard and we had a great time touring the area.

We decided to rent defeats at the last minute here in Colorado Springs and were fortunate to come across Colorado Springs Segway Tours for a last minute booking. The were great teachers and great tour guides. It was so nice to have a smaller tour pop than a huge group. Highly recommend.

This past July two of my daughters families and my husband and I vacationed in the Colorado Springs area. My husband decided to do a Segway Tour and we were joined by our son-in-law Jeff. We were given great training on the use of the Segways as it was our first time, time to learn the movements, some great history about the area and we were on our way. The two hour tour took a great path through and around the area where we got great views of the mountains. We were very pleased and will do it again!

We are two grandparents who treated our two 14 year old grandkids to their ( and our) first Segway tour. The training session in the parking lot alleviated ALL our trepidations- ( especially grandma's). We all enjoyed the guided tour and the knowledgeable owner Clio--It was a memorable afternoon. We all highly recommend it and would do it again when back in Co.

We have 2 adults and 2 teenagers and my wife was challenged with riding a Segway but Clio and Scott was excellent and very experienced and worked with her until she was able to ride it. Very kind and patient people. I highly recommend this tour company. I forgot to mention this was our first time to ride a Segway. We give them 5 stars from the whole Family.

I have been a part of three different Segway tours in various cities now, and this was one unto it's own! It was a much smaller group than most, and the guides were kind and involved with my friend and my tour experience (it was just the two of us). As we went along, they asked what we were interested in and modified the plan to meet our interests.
I would highly recommend this!

Clio and Todd were friendly and down to earth with knowledge and a great awareness of the area and weather habits. They love their city!!
We squeaked under the protection of a park restroom awning to wait out a storm, then quickly got back underway. Great way to spend a couple hours with great people!!!

My wife, teenage daughter and I went to Colorado Springs for a family event and needed a break. It was a beautiful day and we were lucky to find Colorado Springs Segway Tours online. Fortunately for us, they had time in between two tours to take us out as a small group. We met Clio and Scott, our tour guides, at the trail head and learned about these amazing machines. Having never been on one before, we were a little leery at first, but with their exceptional instruction, before we knew it we were on our way! What a great way to spend the day and see Colorado's beautiful surroundings. Scott and Clio at Colorado Springs Segway Tours made us feel like family. We will definitely be back.

We always wanted to try riding a Segway and on our recent vacation to Colorado Springs my wife and I finally got the chance. Are host, Clio and Scott, met us at the YMCA parking lot where we had plenty of room to get used to these machines. My wife needed a little more time so Clio stayed in the parking lot coaching her while Scott guided me first around the sidewalks and sports fields but then to a walkway along a stream through some meadows. It was a sunny day with a light breeze and an enjoyable afternoon.

Remember the original Star Wars movie? Obi-Wan is continually telling Luke to "...let the force be with you", encouraging Luke to be one with the machine! Riding a Segway is kind of like that. To a large extent you just trust the machine. From that point on it's sort of like dancing. Your posture controls how the machine behaves. I really enjoyed it and now plan to look for Segway tours wherever we visit. Try it and have fun.

Thanks again Scott and Clio,

Cilo and Scott are very nice and made things straightforward and simple. Two of the 3 of us had been on Segways before, so the refresher course was still welcome and only takes a few minutes. As other reviews have stated you stay on bike paths and it's very safe.
Clio has an organized "presentation" of sorts from which she shares facts and tidbits about the area and its history which were all pretty fascinating. If your from CO Springs you might not find it as interesting as tourists do, but not an obtrusive impediment to the trip. Overall the trip went by too quickly, however.
Great way to spend time for those who've not ridden a Segway before or only once or twice. We weren't expecting the guided tour as in our first experience several years ago the Segway rental place turned us loose along Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago (which was awesome). That's not allowed in CO, and perhaps not anywhere anymore due to safety concerns/liability.
We recommend Clio and Scott especially if you'll have kids (not small children, though) with you. You'll feel empowered to do it again in a more challenging setting the next time (and you may want a Segway yourself after seeing how much fun and ease they are to ride.
