We needed to kill some time and my niece picked the Discovery Center. The young one's really enjoyed being able to try on space suits upon entry. The center has handouts for a scavenger hunt where you search for facts. There are lots of exhibits...More

Group from a daycare took over every item my girls tried to do. My kifs were bored after 20 minutes. They found the scavenger hunt stuff and that added another 20. Kids were 15 14 and 11. We would not return if in area.

My children enjoyed this but it is a museum that seems better set up for groups or tours. The docents were wonderful and go to the show if you can - it is great! They bring in traveling exhibits and, after being there several times,...More

Some interested by history and displays, but very pricey for what it offers. I thought it would be fun for my 6 year old, but she was quickly bored. Staff seemed to be irritated by the presence of children rather than interested in using the...More

We stopped here as our last museum before the flight home. My son loves space and would have enjoyed staying there all week. Plenty to do and to read. I did wish that all the exhibits were available - we weren’t able to to drive...More

This place is great for all ages. There is so much information. Lots of reading but also lots of hands on. Do the scavenger hunt. It will keep kids attention.

REAL space suits, jet packs, space lab gyroscopes, prototypes--so many hands-on activities, demonstrations, films on a spherical projection system--wow! Some things even the Smithsonian does not have, and subjects they do not cover. Knowledgeable, helpful docents. Fun gift shop, too. Space is such a big...More

This museum is ok! Only a few things for kids to really experience! The staff was super friendly but overall the museum was pretty boring! Ok for a one time visit but I probably wouldn’t return! There are many things they could do to improve...More
