Such a beautiful waterfall to visit and it is surprisingly close and easy to get to from Downtown Colorado Springs. There is a decent parking area near to the falls but, even if the parking is full, if you have the time, park further down...More

Make sure you have water and are accustomed to the elevation as this is a great place for a hike (good trails) but the elevation will kick you butt. The falls are at the beginning of the trail that takes you up into the forest....More

I lived in Colorado my whole life and have never been to Helen Hunt falls until this year. It was the most beautiful place to see. Hope that we will go visit again soon.

BE sure you watch your kids - my husband grabbed a 2 year old who ran ahead and slipped on ice and would have gone over the edge had he not been there!!!

Nice place to take pictures. Parking can be a challenge but just wait it out and you will eventually get a spot. If you choose to hike also silver cascade falls is pretty but all uphill so beware!

The drive up the canyon itself is worth it, but the falls are amazing. There is a cute little gift shop to the side of the falls and during the summer they usually have someone in there with some great knowledge to share about Colorado....More
