We walked through here last year. It is a nice park lots of sites green grass we saw some deer this morning. The weather is great unfortunately the homeless are still overriding the Park but generally speaking it is cleaner than it was last year

My boyfriend and I visited this park for an early morning walk, as it was less than a mile away from the bed and breakfast we were staying in. It is very well-maintained and in a wealthy, safe, historic neighborhood. It was interesting to see all the large, old homes on the way there.

The park itself has dirt trails that wind around fields, landscaping, benches, and what in the warmer months would be streams. The park is very clean and offers some great views of Pikes Peak and the mountains. It is filled with tons of great photo opportunities.

If I return to Colorado Springs, I will likely visit this park again. In addition, I would recommend it to anyone I knew who was traveling to the city.

We enjoyed visiting this park. We walked the trail with our dogs. The trail is well maintained. Can't wait to go back when the gardens are in bloom!

We came to this park and found a small city park with nothing like in the pictures on Trip Advisor. Then after re-reading commentaries we realized that most people who rates this high confused it with Monument Valley National Park in Arizona. These were reviews of lady from the UK, one German, 3 Italians (I read in those languages). TA would benefit from some validation of people's postings.

It’s a little noisy next to the interstate, but still worth stopping by. My favorite part was the demonstration gardens.

I enjoy running and walking here, but after recent events such as people being set on fire, and a lady practically flashing and harassing a group of teens makes me very uncomfortable to be there on my own

What a beautiful park! It's surprisingly big for a park that is in the middle of a really big city. From streams, ponds, playgrounds, ballfields, and more, there seemed to be something for everyone in this place. Tons of room for the kiddos to run around and we had plenty of nooks and crannies to go exploring in.

Talked to a parks employee and learned that there is a volunteer group doing a lot to improve and restore the park's history. He pointed out one of the areas that had been restored recently and it looked great, great job to those involved! We loved our time in the area and will definitely come back for future picnics and outdoor fun.

It's an empty stretch by downtown along the busy highway with a creek. Grass is kept green. The highway noise is ever present. There are a lot of homeless people loitering at the entrances. Parking can be tricky. Downtown is mostly metered parking.

I'm not sure the pool is open this summer, but the park is really a great place to take the kids for a summer's outing.
