My husband was the one that wanted to visit this museum but our entire family ended up enjoying it, even the teenagers. Inexpensive too with student discounts.

Allow an hour to walk through and see all of the exhibits. The museum is part of the college campus, and some merchandise is available in a small gift shop to purchase. During our time there, the main collection is available along with a full spread of Olympic coins and historical merchandise. The whole basement area was an interactive history... More

Right on the edge of Colorado College is a free-to-visit Money Museum tucked in the corner. I was not disappointed! In the museum contained samples of money from around the globe from the ancoent Greeks to modern day, from simple gold nuggets to coins and even paper money, along with machines used to stamp and print money. The museum gives... More

We have visited this facility several times now to work on the BSA Coin Collecting Merit Badge. Their volunteers take GREAT STRIDES to work with and teach youth. I am not sure I have ever seen a place focus on teaching and sharing the hobby as much as the Money Museum does. If you are a coin collector, it's a... More

This museum offers an unbelievable collection of coins. Even if you don't consider yourself to be a coin collector you most likely will find it very interesting. They currently have a nice exhibit of the Olympics with coins & medals. They even have a setup where you can take a picture on the "medal podium" inside a stadium with fake... More
