Very cool building! The climb isn't bad and it gets you to one of the most amazing views of the mountains and Colorado Springs. The Will Rogers pictures are neat to see and they reflect a very different time period. The chapel was probably the prettiest part of the structure. The landscaping was nice but the view is what makes... More

This is an excellent monument and worth the drive and even the required admission to the Zoo, which is certainly not a favorite of mine. The monument is very impressive and is the final resting place of Penrose who built The Broadmoor. The site has terrific views.

This is a nice little area to be quite with your mind. I've never been up here when it wasn't windy though, so it's not technically quiet... There are a lot of switchbacks driving up and if you aren't a fan of heights I'm not sure you'll enjoy this trip up. But, we always head up when we've gone to... More

You can only visit by paying to get inside the zoo. The shrine is at the very top on the mountain inside the zoo.

A drive up a winding road takes you to a beautiful shrine and the view over Colorado. Climb the 10 flights of stairs and enjoy the many historical pictures on each level. At the base, is a lovely chapel & historical mural. Built entirely of granite, it is stunning.

This is an amazing must-do visit for anyone, even locals who have lived in the City for years! Not only do you get to go inside and climb the stairs throughout the Will Rogers shrine, and learn the history first hand, but you get a view of the City below that is breathtaking. And it's never crowded. You must drive... More

Entrance to this area is thru the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and is included in the zoo admission. The shrine sits about 1700 ft above Colorado Springs on a cliff with a very sheer drop. The views from here are just awesome. The shrine contains many photos of the life of Will Rogers. The shrine is 100 ft tall and steps... More

Wow! Between the history , architecture and sweeping valley views you just cannot go wrong with a visit here! I went with family and two small children... yes some hand holding will be required but it's well worth the visit! It's amazing what ego and some $$$ can cause people to do! All to not be forgotten and you have... More

High above the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, up the climbing road you find this hidden treasure. If you enjoy the wit & wisdon of Will Rogers, then you have to visit this shrine. It is great!
