Wonderful museum full of a lot of rodeo history. Enjoyed seeing information from the Sydney, Iowa rodeo, as I attended with my family as a child several times while growing up in Iowa.
My two reasons for four stars instead of five are the following: 1. The only map for the museum is a high tech wonderful electronic map as you enter. When I asked if they have a map we could carry with us, I was told they are still working on creating one and I could use the electronic one in the entry. Please understand that this museum is HUGE and very well done, but I sure wasn't going to walk back to the lobby every time I wanted to decide what area I wanted to go to next. I wish they would spend a little money on a map/guide to take with us through the museum.
2. The large and informative plaques behind each display were great, but some were so low light and such tiny print that they could barely be read. I would have love to have been able to read them more easily, as I finally gave up on many of them.
Glad we went and it would definitely deserve five stars except for the above. We have only been to a few rodeos in our lives but found this very interesting. Reasonably priced.

Former team roper and now, wife and I are big rodeo fans. ProRodeo Hall of Fame is a "must see" and absolutely terrific.

We have returned to Colorado and renewed our membership. When living here before, we attended two major events: The World Champions Induction (no longer have) and the Hall of Fame Induction. Got to meet the Inductees of both and existing Hall of Famers.

So, if you are a rodeo fan, this is a place you can't miss when visiting Colorado and/or Colorado Springs.

This place has really grown in the last 13 years! Tons of info and displays -- tons of things to read on all aspects of the rodeo. Fun to find names of people you know or have seen in the rodeo world!
Great to see some of the retired animals here also!
Truly a place all rodeo fans need to see -- but could be pretty boring if you aren't a fan! I feel like you nee to know something about the world of rodeo to have much interest in this place -- but I guess it IS a Hall of Fame :-)

I am a huge fan of site seeing and I enjoy going most places and love museums. However, the ProRodeo Hall of Fame is the most boring museum we've even been to - a waste of money!

What you'll see......several bronze sculptures of horses & cowboys (see photo), glass enclosed display after display after display with rodeo shirt, cowboy hat, cowboy boots, rope, belt buckle -- I've never seen so many displays with the same things inside them - over and over and over! They belonged to different rodeo contestants but once you've seen one of the displays you've seen them all! And it goes on for two huge rooms full- all along the walls! Boring! (see photo)

The highlight for our son was a small empty room at the very end of the museum. It was circular with full 360 degree photos on the wall from an arena so when you walk in - it fells like you are in the center of an actual arena but nothing is in the room but carpeting. (see photo)

Outside are two wild horses in a corral. That was the highlight for our daughter. When you walk to the corral, the horses get freaked out and run crazy and wild in the pen. My daughter thought the horses were visiting her each time they ran back and forth but really they were just running crazy! (see photo)

That is all you get to see. Unless you like glass displays of similar items over and over and over again. I would not bother visiting. Wish we didn't!

Stopped in to have a look. It was a very nice set up with lots of Rodeo history past & present. Be sure to stop in the gift shop and grab a shirt or two.

I am so glad that we stopped here. It was so interesting. The place is huge. I wish I had all day to read about all the brave cowboys and cowgirls in this museum. Admission was cheap and everything in the gift shop was reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping here!

Hard for me to give a fair rating since I don't care about rodeo at all. For some reason, I decided to check it out. Meh. Not really my thing, but probably really cool if you're into this stuff.

I'm not a rodeo guy as I grew up in the suburbs & only rode a horse at camp. I went with my family since I pass it enough times. It's mainly a bunch of saddles, belt buckles & names. The movie provided a little context to the whole thing but I am not the one to judge this place since I don't really know what I was looking for.

I'm sure the true die-hard rodeo fan disagrees with me, but for a casual observer of the sport this is just a jumble; it's like the attic of a rodeo fan who just assumes everyone else understands.
