The unique design of the Zoo’s animal exhibits gets guests closer than ever before. Have a WILD adventure at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo – see the animals, ride an antique carousel, eat a gourmet lunch at the Grizzly Grill and ride the Mountaineer Sky Ride to the Zoo’s summit. Wear good shoes to walk the inclines of this mountainside zoo! And be sure to take the lift to see great overlooks of Colorado Springs. There are some fine animal habitats, but some do need updating.

A delightful setting for animals! Many of the habitats of the animals are as authentic as possible. We have also attended special events at the zoo which we enjoyable for various ages.

I had been looking forward to this but was a little disappointed that some areas closed off ( some due to snow) and many animals were not visible. Love seeing the pics on facebook but didn't relate to the experience I had at the zoo.

Beautiful zoo with great animals! Unique location and setting, on the side of Cheyenne Mountain, gorgeous views of Colorado Springs. Good little places to eat inside, Kind of pricy. Great gift shop for souvenirs.
