First, this is a really beautiful park with an amazing view of the mountains, BUT....I don't feel safe taking my grandchildren there. Our last visit, I saw needles, crazy amounts of trash, and homeless camps everywhere. The bathrooms were filled with the homeless bathing and there was more drug paraphernalia. Such a waste of what should be a city treasure. I will not be returning until the city does something to clean it up!…

The view is great. Unfortunately, the homeless population leaves trash, clothing, bedding, etc. all around the park. Not a commentary on the homeless, other than there are trash cans all around that are surprisingly empty, while there's trash strewn everywhere. I met a city employee making a valiant effort, with a pickup bed full of stuff. I don't feel safe at this park, which is really a shame. The playground is great, and it is at the confluence of two trails - should be a favorite but I'm frustrated each time I go there.…

Every time we go to this park it is nice, and quiet. Great place to just look at the mountains, and enjoy what Colorado Springs is about. The fountain is only open during summer, but a great experience when it hits dark with the lights they have at the entrance of the park. A great time had by all indeed.…
