One of the oldest courses west of the Mississippi, but old does not mean bad. It does mean big trees and at times narrow fairways. The course has constantly undergone renovations to keep it competitive, but you do not need to be a big hitter off the tee. More of a shot making course. Greens are deceptive. Beautiful views of... A coworker retired last week and we had her retirement party at Patty Jewett. The setting is spectacular with Pikes Peak views. The service is very good and the food is plentiful and tastes very good too. I have had lunch here as well on the patio and it my experience was very good.

One of the best public golf courses you will play. It has 27 great holes with many old trees that line the fairways. The course is in great shape. The clubhouse view is spectacular and the food is very good. However, the course is almost always busy and a round can take 5 1/2 hours, so don't be in a... More

I played Patty Jewett four years ago or so when I moved into town. Nice parkland course, tree lined but was in terrible condition. I wrote it off. The following year I was playing another course in town and my buddy asked if I had played Patty Jewett, I said I had and wouldn't go back. He said go back... More

Played nine holes on a quick trip to the city and had a fun experience. Reasonable fees and available tee time made it easy to decide to play. Not a difficult course, but fun nonetheless!

I did attend a wedding reception here, and may I say they do a perfect job for the bride and groom. The food was fabulous: Prime Rib, salmon, rice pilaf, au gratin potatoes, fresh vegetable medley, crisp salad. The bride and groom did not have a wedding party table which keeps the newly weds unable to get into each other... More

This is the oldest golf course west of the Mississippi. Built by General Palmer it is, in my opinion, the best public golf course I have ever played. Fees are very reasonable and you can get on without a lot of hassle.

I saw enough good things about Patty Jewett that I really wanted to give it five stars. For example, the way the daily pin placement is printed on the scorecards is pure genius--every course should pick up on this. I also much like the fact they added additional tees to help the shorter hitters. They could use a few more,... More

If you are looking for a five and a half to six and a half round of golf, this is the place. Consistently the slowest playing golf course I've ever played. No marshaling to speed play. The marshals are just used for social visits. The people who play here have absolutely no consideration for other players. I like the course.... More

I grew up on this golf course. Great for different skill sets, and the staff is really wonderful. Great location, and I like the difficulty of the course (just in the middle).
