The Penrose Tour was a blast. The owners of the tour were friendly, funny and knowledgable and the owners of the places we visited treated us like old friends. We got to go behind the scenes and learn about how they make their whiskey or beer and they were very open with questions. The samples were NOT small either, we got a good amount of some very good booze.

Absolutely recommended even if you're a local. Maybe especially if you're a local!

This was my wife’s and I first time to Colorado and this tour did not disappoint. Galen was fantastic as she was knowledgeable and very accommodating. We did the Monument tour with the moonshine distillery being the highlight. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Colorado Springs or locals as well.

I schedule the Old Ranch brewery tour for my dad and I as a father's day gift. Galen was incredible. We learned so much about beer, the process of brewing and how fun and delicious food pairing beers can be (my absolute favorite part of the adventure). We are from Colorado Springs, and we learned about awesome breweries in the city that we didn't know before. The beer at the different breweries was great, and we will definitely be going back. We did the Sunday Old Ranch Tour and I highly recommend it! I look forward to trying their other tours in the future. This is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon for a group of friends, couples, or family. Easily deserves 5 stars.

It was wonderful having you and your dad on board! Thanks so much for joining us and letting me share some new breweries with you. I'm so glad you had fun with the food/beer pairing - that's one of my favorite parts of the tour, as well. I hope to see you again sometime!

A great tour! Galen was a very knowledgeable and lovely hostess. The Moonshine Distillery and Breweries were fascinating and we had more than enough time to enjoy all they had to offer and to talk to the Managers. Definitely recommended and we will be back for more!

Galen was very attentive to everyone's needs. <3 The tour was interesting: The 291 Distillery, The Gold Camp Brewery and the Local Relic Brewery. All very different places. I liked the Local Relic the best. A nice way to explore the smaller, lesser known places around town.

These folks really know how to show people a good time! We hit three separate stops with food samples at the end. I highly recommend this if your a Colorado native or a tourist visiting from out of state. It has something for everybody.

We took a tour with the Colorado Craft Tours. Galen, the tour operator was amazing. She was also very patient as we went to the WRONG meeting place and she waited for us to get to the right place. THANK YOU AGAIN, GALEN! The first stop was a moonshine distilling place and we got a great in depth tour. The second and third stops were brewery stops but on the third stop we also had a pairing of a small taste of food from the restaurant that paired perfectly with each of the six beers in our flight. Everything was fantastic. In fact, after the tour was over everyone in the tour stayed behind to order more food and hang out. It was truly a great time and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting the Colorado Springs area.

Reading reviews like this make my day! Of course I was going to make sure we didn't leave without you - it would have been too sad to miss the fun. And seeing groups coming together and enjoying hanging out is one of my favorite parts of the job. There's something about brewery tours that attract really great people! Thank you again for joining us and I hope we see you again this next summer.

We had an awesome time on our tour. We went to a distillery called 291 and tasted a bunch of whiskey. Then went onto Gold Camp and tried a flight of beer. I am not an IPA drinker but the IPA's they had were actually pretty good. Then our last stop was Local Relic which was the highlight by far. The beer was excellent and the food pairings were out of this world. I am so glad we added this to our mini vacation and I would love to do another tour with them the next time I'm in town.
