One of my go to places, just for a peaceful, and scenic drive, or to watch our amazing CO sunsets. Many trails for all levels of hiking. Plus we have seen a variety of wildlife. Convenient parking, and many places to rest, on the rocks, in designated picnic area, or park benchs.

This garden was great ! There is no cost to go. The rock formations are breathtaking, especially the 'balance rock' which is a must see and difficult to describe. Pathways are paved/cement for the most part, so easy to navigate, and mostly flat. About an hour is all you need at the main visitor spot. There are other spots to... More

GOTG is the best tourist area in the Springs and admission is FREE. It is absolutely beautiful and there are so many look outs and great photo opportunities.Balancing Rock of course is a must see but don't focus too much on that because there is so much more to see.The Trading Post gift shop is awesome. The best in the... More

Beautiful views and no admissions charge. The rocks are stunning. There are trails for hiking and dogs on leashes are welcome. You can get a rock climbing permit too. It was quite busy with school outtings on a weekday.

Assuming you've never visited, take a few minutes to first stop in the Visitor & Nature Center. There you can grab a map and ask for trail suggestions. Proceeding across the street into the park there is a loop road to drive on and many parking areas to pull off. My tour was primarily on foot, parking in the first... More

My girlfriend and I drove to Garden of the Gods after finding out the weather and snow wasn't great for hiking the Barr Trail to the top of Pikes Peak. It's a stunning location and well worth a visit, however it's not very challenging for hiking.

What awesome trails and views of unique rock formations! If you are traveling as a family, the paved trail in the central garden area are perfect. We preferred the out trails which are more rugged and provide different views. All the trails are so worthy!
