We stopped here on our visit to Colorado Springs. It was very informative and a lot to see. We visited the chapel and saw all of the cadets leaving from lunch. It was interesting seeing why certain cadets walk on the marbel and others don't. The chapels are beautiful. I would highly recommend watching the 20 minute video as you... More

I really can't rate this because I only saw it from afar. We arrived at 5:15 pm and the chapel closes to visitors at 5:00pm. The MP took my driver's license and told us we had to make a U-turn and leave as the whole base was closed to visitors after 5:00. We made the turn and he handed my... More

Everything we saw here was so moving. From the introductory movie to the tour of the chapel, we were so impressed. It is a beautiful place and it is so encouraging to see the caliber of young people who are so willing to serve our country. The entire campus is just beautiful!

The Air Force Academy is a beautiful college campus. The architecture is unique. Definitely visit the chapel on the campus. It was designed to resemble fighter airplanes. Parts of the campus are closed for the safety of the cadets.

I had been stationed here in the early 1970s while on the faculty of the Academy, and this was a much-overdue return visit. The place is wonderful and inspiring. Some of America's best and brightest study here to become future leaders, and we can all be proud of the way the Academy looks and operates. If you go to Colorado... More

Well worth the trip to see this very unique design. 4 chapels within the structure. Very impressive and FREE. There are other viewing areas of the campus with its many sports fields.

This is certainly the most recognizable of the buildings at the USAF Academy. In fact, until the most recent addition of a building that looks like a horizontal stabilizer (tail) of a plane, it was the only building of any remark in my opinion. The Academy was built in the post-WWII era so missed out on the classic beauty of... More

The USAF Academy is another must stop and visit when in Colorado Springs. Absolutely beautiful campus and extremely impressive to see our young American men and women in uniform preparing to serve our country. Makes one proud to be an American!!

Well worth the trip. Surprisingle good access to the US Air Force Academy. There are some amazing "gate guardians" of old planes at both the north and south gates. The visitors centre is an excellent education and the church is superb (see photo). All round well worth half a day and its free!!
