The Chapel is breathtaking. The pipe organ is immense and well designed to fit in the modern feel of the sanctuary. There are 3 more places for worship in the building: a Synagogue, a Catholic Chapel, and a Buddhist Temple. All worth the visit.

Whenever people are from out of town, I make it a point to take them to the Air Force Academy. You can park and walk thru a visitor center at the Academy, watch a video about life of the Cadets, and walk over to see the Chapel. Great experience!

Haven't been to the AFA for decades and just took 2 teens. The movie at the visitor center was inspirational. The chapel walk --- protestant, catholic, Jewish and Buddhist chapels were amazing in very different ways. The views were lovely and the planes were great.

The Academy is a beautiful, inspiring and spiritual place. Visit the visitor center as well as the chapel. Their is a lot to see just walking around. Make sure you visit the basement and side rims of the chapel, theirs a worship area for most religions.

The visitor center is very impressive and gives insight about the history and development of the United States Airforce. In the Theater is movie is shown and several Modells and artifacts show the hard work of the branch of the military. The church dan be reached via a short walk. The church hosts a Lutheran, Catholic, Buddhism, and Jewish part,... More

School was out on Christmas break, but the visitor center, the chapel and the hero's display area were open and we tired those quite happily. Great architecture, moving memorabilia, and fruiting tributes to heroes of the ages... We are grateful to all our military, past and present, and can recommend a tour of the Air Force Academy as time well... More
