My favorite area to take foliage photos in the fall, across the street is Hahn's Peak area and a little up the road is Columbine area all some of the best foliage in the Steamboat area.

Beautiful drive towards iconic Hahn's peak. Lake itself is quiet and peaceful and hike through the woods and wildflowers relaxing and gorgeous. Great place

Steamboat Lake State Park one of Colorado's hidden treasures. The lake is gorgeous and all of the campsites are clean and well maintained. Even the pit toilets we clean, no smells!

Yes, they are. Paddleboards are considered a "vessel" so you must at least carry a life jacket for everyone on board and have a whistle. Kids under 13 must wear their life jacket.

The winter sites are never full. You'll always have a spot. Feel free to call the Visitor Center to check.
