My husband and I booked this adventure for our honeymoon at the recommendation of our travel agent and boy was it an experience! We rode the ATV through the snow!! It was freezing cold but Manny was a great guide through the mountains and the rest of the crew made sure we were safe and even let us borrow a couple jackets and gloves for extra protection. Thank GOODNESS they had extra gear for us because we would have froze to death lol. Thank you all for such a fun experience for our honeymoon!

We did the half-day Pikes Peak tour and had a great time. Our guides Manny and Cat were super friendly and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable for the trip. There was a nice balance of riding and stopping to enjoy the views. I would definitely recommend riding with Rockhound ATV tours if you want an up-close view of the Pikes Peak mountains.

We had a great time on our ATV tour. Our group included ages from 73 down to 3 years old. The men loved driving the machines. Kevin and John were our guides and had lots information and stories to tell about the area. During the stops the kids got to play in a small mountain stream and romp around on the mountains. It was really a wonderful experience and all ages had a great time. If you do bring children I would suggest bringing your kids bike helmets that they are used to, they have options and our kids did fine with them. But it would have been easier to just bring their own.

Our tour guide was nice but we were stuck behind 4 vehicles, absorbed all the dust for being last, literally driving with one hand almost the entire time and covering dust with the other. Dust got to our eyes and mouths even with masks on. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I would suggest better googles and mouth piece.

We had Melissa as our tour guide and she was fantastic! She made sure we understood the machine we were driving and also kept an eye on us at all times. She went at our pace and our comfort level. She was lively and provided cool information about the area and was more than happy to help us take pictures. This is a perfect route for beginners as we had never been on an ATV before and the scenery was nice as well. I would definitely use them again!

Rockhound ATV Tours provided us with an absolutely memorable experience. A friend and I traveled all the way from Puerto Rico and had the time of our lives. Right from the beginning of the booking process, Dave was amazing, helping us find the perfect tour that matched our preferences.

We had an afternoon tour and it worked out great. Awesome weather and the rain stayed away until we were done and packed up.
Everyone was very friendly and Jim was a great guide. He pointed out some stuff on the few stops we made and also answered questions.
We opted for the 4 seater as my family came so everyone got a chance to drive. Be prepared to get dirty cause if you aren't when your done, then you did it wrong

None of our party had ever ridden ATVs before. The four of us each got a single rider quad. We received good instruction on how to operate them and our guide matched the pace and difficulty to our comfort level. By mid-tour we were flying over the trail and having a blast. We would definitely do this again!

This was an excellent tour experience. This tour offers an exciting ride through the Pike National Forest on ATV as you get to enjoy the thrill of the terrain and beautiful views of the mountains. We made a stop at Pike’s Peak lookout and was able to see Pikes Peak. We also got to see man’s deer and a family of Elk. Caleb was a great tour guide. He I very friendly and knows a lot about the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to any one who was a nature tour on ATV’s. Everyone at the office were great especially Pearl their dog!

Great experience from start to finish. Check in process was simple and the office staff was very friendly. Our guide made sure we were comfortable with the pace and answered questions along the way. We rented three ATV’s and it was perfect. Some of the 45 miles of trailed we experienced in Pike National Forest were a little challenging if you’ve not riding ATVs before, but we never felt rushed so everything was great. The scenery through Pike is incredible. We will absolutely do this again and will definitely book with RockAround.
One thing to note. Plan on getting dirty. These are all dirt trails and you’ll catch a lot of dirt/dust as you ride. But so worth it.
