Me and my husband did a Royal Gorge Overnight trip. It was my birthday present from my hubby! We set off on a Saturday morning with our knowledgeable and friendly guide John. The first day of rafting was easy going with a stop for lunch. We did about 12 miles of rafting. Me and my husband are first time rafters and the day was all about learning the basics. John was great at showing us the ropes. We had time to get used to rafting techniques. At the end of the first day we camped at a lovely spot on the riverside. Our trip included all meals that were carefully prepared by John. Next morning we got ready to face the day of a more intense rafting with 3 and 4 class whitewater rapids and around 22 miles of rafting to do. First part of the day it was just the three of us paddling along with a quick stop for lunch. After lunch four more people joined us and we set off on our final leg of the journey to the Royal Gorge. It was very intense, with lots of exciting twists and turns, adrenaline was pumping though our veins. Its an amazing feeling to be thrown around in the wild waters of the river, be part of this mini team, working in unison, staying afloat, thanks to John's directions - an experienced guide of ours. Plus the sights of the gorge and the bridge were incredible! Unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone at Lost Paddle Rafting. Every single detail of our journey was well thought through, and we received the most wonderful customer service imaginable.

The all day rafting trip down Bighorn Canyon and the Royal Gorge would be 5 stars by itself, but out guide Nathan made this a 6 star trip. Beyond having a great technical command of the river and rafting, he has great knowledge of the area and was very friendly. Lost Paddle is a smaller mom and pop outfit and maybe not as polished as some of the others, but I think that's part of the charm. These people are in it for the love of the craft. I would definitely raft with the again.

My husband and I did an excellent overnight float and rafting trip with Lost Paddle Rafting. We were super impressed with the staffs agility and their dedication to our experience. Tyler, our guide did a great job of being our guide on the two day overnight trip. He was gracious and did a great job being camp host when we camped as well as River guide. We appreciated that Lost Paddle honored our reservation when it was just the two of us. I feel that if we had booked with one of the mega companies that they would have cancelled our reservation because the trip was too small and too resource intensive for just 2 people. At the end of the trip, I wanted to buy a tank top souvenir. The shop didn’t have exactly what I wanted but the great thing was they offered to have one specific made for me and mailed it to my home!!

We all had a great time with Lost Paddle in the Royal Gorge. It's always cool watching someone good at what they do, and our guide Will brought the skill to the job. We did the over night trip- the meals were good and the camping equipment supplied was all in great condition. Will was great company around the campfire as well!

We did an overnight trip through Bighorn Sheep and Royal Gorge. The guides were awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. I like how this outfit is smaller and feels personal versus transactional. The customer service from start to finish was excellent even as we had to navigate through the pandemic and reschedule over multiple years. We can’t wait to come back again, the smiles on my kids faces made my year!!!

I have taken 3 trips down the Royal Gorge with other different vendors and by far Lost Paddle is definitely the BEST!
This family owned and operated business let's you do things the other outfits wouldn't dare let you. Their guides make sure you get the most thrill for your money.
My trip was with guide Nate who is an absolute master at navigation on the river. His expertise was obvious and his knowledge of the river area was outstanding!
To whomever is reading this call Kelly in the front office and get your trip booked. Kelly is fast, efficient and extremely nice, you won't regret it!

We were a group of six, two adults and four teenage girls. We all had a blast. Chris at Lost Paddle was very cool and nice. We will definitely recommend Lost Paddle to others and look forward to doing the Royal Gorge section when the girls are older. Thanks!!

We took the full day trip (half big horn sheep and half day royal gorge) and it was amazing! Our guide John was the best!
My Fiancé and I have been rafting before but the friend we were with hadn’t been in years. The first half of Big Horn sheep was slow for us but it was perfect to get our group into the swing of things for the second half of the day.
The Royal Gorge portion was amazing!! We picked up new people on our raft who were new to rafting and John did a great job at coaching us through. We had the best time!

I experienced the 2 day overnight. This was a great experience for myself and son. We had Andrew the first day and he was a pleasure, from rafting to camping. This company seems small but are big in there operation. They were very friendly and a joy to raft with. The second day was we hit the Gorge and it was everything I expected and more. (Sorry I can’t remember his name) he was just as knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make it a lasting memory. If you want a family atmosphere that’s very personable I recommend this company. I will use this company when and recommend this company to my friends.

I would book at least a week in advance ... Two if you can, just to be on the safe side. Especially if you have a large group.
