Had a great time. Our kids are 10 and 7, they had a blast. Rapids were smooth enough to feel safe but crazy enough to get drenched with some laughs.

Fantastic fun trip with family. Our guide gave clear instructions and was very genial. Beautiful scenery. We spotted some bighorn sheep on the mountainsides. Rafting is always a good time!

We did the one in Cotopaxi but I can't get it to come up on here. It's not far and it's the same outfitter.
This is an amazing experience! If you like water coasters, it's a great deal of fun!
ART's guides are very well trained and ours were Cat and Christina, who are both amazing and very obviously LOVE their jobs! We did the Brown's Canyon tour and the Royal Gorge the next day. The tent and sleeping bag on the river were surprisingly comfortable and I love sleeping to the natural white noise of the Arkansas flowing!
Cat and Christina will keep you safe, just follow their instructions, they know the river like the back of their hands! We will probably request them next time if they're still there. Everyone who likes water and nature should put this on their bucket list!
It is reasonably priced too, about 1195 for 2 day rafting and camping, with several meals and a great photo package!

The best rafting trip I’ve ever done. Our guide, Kristina, was first class. She was personable, intentional and shared her passion for rafting and life with us. The river was exhilarating and the views of the gorge were simply awe inspiring. I highly recommend Kristina and the crew at ART to experience the Royal Gorge and make memories for a lifetime!

Best rafting trip I’ve ever been on. Julie was an amazing guide. She got us up to speed quickly on the commands and had a wonderful personality. She really made it fun for our family. One comment: she told a frightening story about pewmas eating wayward rafters. My teenage boys Brooks and Briggs were very scared. They are fairly sheltered and very sensitive. Julie assured them later that she has never heard about pewmas attacking rafters. That made my boys feel better. Thanks again Julie!

We ender our Colorado vacation with a float trip with Arkansas River Tours. What a great time. Most our group had never done a rafting trip like this. The staff was helpful and professional all the way through the process. Our float leader, Jesus, made our morning so memorable. He was a blast to float with, was super knowledgeable and great with our nervous group and went above and beyond to help us navigate the river in a fun way. Would highly recommend!

My best friends and I came to Colorado for a girls trip. The white water rafting has hands down been the best part of the trip. Kyle was our guide and was AMAZING! He was patient giving directions and helping everyone on the raft. He talked about the history and geology of the area while we floated down the river. His jokes were the best! Highly recommend this outfitter and Kyle!

I have always wanted to go on a White Water raft but have always been nervous. When we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. They offered splash gear and thermal wear; and then fitted us for life vests and helmets. Jesus was our leader and he was amazing! Super funny and helpful all throughout. So good that he calmed both my sister and I's fears. We had a blast and are already excited for our next rafting trip!

Hi Gail, The temperatures in late May fluctuate a lot during the day and night. Daytime temperatures can reach mid 80's and nighttime lows can get into the 40's but usually around the low 50's.
You can fly into Denver International Airport or Colorado Springs Airport. People usually like to bring their own camping equipment but if you are flying that is a lot of extra gear to bring and we have equipment available if needed. Thanks!

We are planning on the 7 day river rafting tour, what are temperatures like in late May and what are the daytime/night time ranges? Where do we fly into and do we bring our own sleeping bags/tents etc?
