Jumpin' Good Goat Dairy is a small family goat dairy and creamery that proudly produces pure, all-natural small-batch artisan goat cheese. Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains we do our very best to make sure our goats are happy and healthy, because the happier the goat, the tastier our cheese. Besides the dairy and creamery our farm houses our country store, here we invite visitors to sample not only our seasonal offerings of cheese but also other yummy goods produce right here in Chaffee County! Guests may also visit the store to sign up for one of our guided Farm and Milking tours. Offered year round our Farm tour is at 11:30am on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Our herd is seasonal so that means we only milk from early spring to late summer, therefore our Milking tours are only available from late March to late September at 3:00pm Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Because we live in the unpredictable Rockies we will occasionally cancel tours due to inclement weather.

I have tried their cheese several times at different farmers market and it is the best. Very mild in taste and the texture is very smooth. The different flavors are the best. I have not had anything bad each time we have tried

After driving past this (it sits right off the highway) several times we had to stop in and check it out. Very friendly owners, the goat cheese was wonderful. I had never tried it before. Other items available including jams, jellies, honey, souvenirs, etc. I recommend stopping if you are in the area.

It's a nice fun stop. Great friendly staff and great cheese and samples. It was just me and the wife, but would be a fun family stop for the kids too. Will not take long but definitely worth the stop,

Cheese is awesome and very reasonably priced. They sell other cute gift things too. Right out back are some little goats you can look at. There are paid tours too, which would allow you to see more of their goats. It's just 3 miles West of Buena Vista.

We arrived while there were not many customers there. Having the staff to ourselves was great. We learned a lot and enjoyed the sample. Of course, we bought the cheese.

Love this place. My son is a white water rafting guide near here and we visit every time we are in town. The people are very friendly and happy to show us around. The cheese and local goods are exceptional.

Stopped by one Saturday. Got lots of free samples plus a really interesting tour. Cheese here is delicious. Always try to visit the store when we're in the area. Love the goats!

Came down for my birthday weekend (my wife and I are both animal lovers and cheese fans), and we couldn't have imagined a better time. We did the tour - our guide, Pat, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful - and we got to see the goats (a lot of goats!), the cellar, and the cheese-making operations. The goats are very... More
