About
Jumpin' Good Goat Dairy is a small family goat dairy and creamery that proudly produces pure, all-natural small-batch artisan goat cheese. Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains we do our very best to make sure our goats are happy and healthy, because the happier the goat, the tastier our cheese. Besides the dairy and creamery our farm houses our country store, here we invite visitors to sample not only our seasonal offerings of cheese but also other yummy goods produce right here in Chaffee County! Guests may also visit the store to sign up for one of our guided Farm and Milking tours. Offered year round our Farm tour is at 11:30am on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Our herd is seasonal so that means we only milk from early spring to late summer, therefore our Milking tours are only available from late March to late September at 2:00pm Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Because we live in the unpredictable Rockies we will occasionally cancel tours due to inclement weather.

Love visiting the goats!

So much fun for the family to see a working dairy. The goats were so cute! The cheese is delicious! Love to be able to see where our food comes from and shop / support local!

Cute place with good goat cheese at very reasonable prices but better than that, got to play with adorable goats.

The woman who was in the store was charming. We bought multiple cheese and thought they were great...the tours weren’t open yet, but we would definitely taken one if they were.

Friendly goats and their owners. Yummy goat cheeses that one can sample before buying and that are great unique gifts to keep or share.

fun for kids

Our 3 year old granddaughter was able to feed the goats and pet the sheep. Unfortunately, due to the season, some of the options were not available. We bought several of the delicious cheeses!

Great cheeses!

We stopped here on the way back from Leadville to Salida. We were able to try several samples before buying and would have bought more if we hadn't been staying at a hotel. We ended up getting some blue cheese bits, some cheddar and their first snow cheese. We ate them with some crackers the next two days while hiking and it was perfect! Would love to go back next time we're in the area.

fun trip for animal lovers and kids

I looooooved this place! You get to feed bottles to baby goats! We had a walking tour to see how goat milk is processed and cheeze is made, but the fun part was petting all the goats. And, I sure did learn to have a new respect for llamas. Don't mess with those buggers! Our tour gude was awesome.

Great little stop

We were driving through and picked up some delicious goat goodies. I think the tour is very expensive but it did look quite popular. The goat cheese curds are fantastic!
