We hiked to Harvard Lakes and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Beautiful views and peaceful hiking through the forest. We saw only 4 others on the trail as we ascended; they all were on the last part of their multiday trip on the Colorado Trail. Unfortunately,...More

It's not an AWD rode, just washboard rough. Some of our party visited this while others rafted. Beautiful views, crystal water, lots of folks active on the water kayaking, spb, etc.

Great place for families. Not so great if you want solitude. Lots of people fishing near the parking lot. Lots of people walking the paths. Not so much to disturb but if you want to be out of sight of other people or other fishermen...More

Enjoy a scenic drive to this charming lake, where there is a mountain goat viewing area. Fishing, SUP, and kayak/canoe paddling are the main pastimes on the small lake. Be sure to bring insect repellant. On your way home, you can stop at a hot...More

Speed limit is 10mph on the road, but nobody seems to follow it! Lake is beautiful, have to pay for day pass, or free with National Park senior pass. Saw several people fishing. Gorgeous views! Watch for wildlife on the way!

We went in the early evening. The fish were jumping and we sat transfixed watching them leap out of the water after their dinner.

High up in the collegiate peaks is this jewel. Most of the way is paved except for the last five miles. Lake access for the public, camping above the lake, and magnificent mountain scenery.
