We stubbled upon this small but surprise garden of "boulders" while walking south along the "RiverSide Trail" from Buena Vista Whitewater Park to a newly constructed area called South Main Town Square. If you are driving from Hwy 24, turn east onto Main St & go through the old town of Buena Vista. Keep on going east while looking for... More

Great little bouldering spot my husband and I found during our stay in Buena Vista. So much fun to come across a place to boulder for free.

Certainly a unique attraction that entertains the little ones for a while. The climbing boulder át the town square was also find did the kids. If we had come to Buena Vista just for the Boulder Garden I would be disappointed but it is a nice side trip.

The views from here are spectacular. I recommend to you to just give the garden a try. You will be a le to feel the magic of... More

Great park for the kids to climb around and learn bouldering skills. Also great place to watch some pro's show off some climbing skills.

After lunch, we went to this lovely boulder area....well laid out and a place for exploration. You wind thru the old portion of Buena Vista to get to the new area. Both are interesting and well worth a stop when visiting the town....

We went to the bouldering park after rafting the Arkansas River. While the kids played in the bouldering area, the adults watched whitewater kayakers on the river. Very nice place!

Nothing cosmic, but my daughter truly enjoyed it. A few rocks, with climbing attachments. Great location by the river, and south main!

Great concept! Wished we had something similar here in Oklahoma. Next time we come we want to rent bikes and try the trails.
