Do you have small kids that just want to splash? Are you sick of spending $$$ at places like Elitch Gardens and Water World? GO TO THE BAY! Seriously. I have no idea how this place isn't more packed because it's FANTASTIC. I wish I had known about it sooner, I would have spent all summer here with my 2yo. It's great for kids and families and is so affordable. I will be back next summer. Worth the drive if you aren't a local!

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a fun place for smaller kids without the massive crowds or large scale distances to walk of a bigger water park. Plenty of activities (2 twisty water slides, 1 slide where you can sit on a tube either solo or child on lap or 2 kids, a few smaller slides, 1 nice play structure in the pool, plus another kiddie pool with more straight slides). It's nice too because little kids under 48" can sit on a parent's lap for the slides, unlike other places, so they are able to get in on the fun. It is big enough that there is plenty to do, yet small enough to keep your eye on the kids as they play in the shallower water. These are zero entry pools, so you can also pull a chair up to the edge and sit while you watch them. They have a snack bar, but you can bring your own food in, which is also a plus when trying to save $, as well as plenty of grassy areas and tables in which to spread out and have a picnic. We've always found there are enough chairs too. It is clean and he lifeguards really seem on top of things (though the last time I was there two of them were sneakily playing "Rock Paper Scissors" across the pool from one another until they noticed me staring at them...). All in all it's a lot of fun and run well. It costs $8 for a non resident, which is a little pricey for too many visits, but we visit occasionally and it's less $ than a water park. It's definitely a fun place to check out if you are in the area (I live in Boulder).

The bay is Awesome. It's not water world, so if your looking for 30 attractions and large 5 person tube rides, this is not the place.
However, if your looking for a very nice water park that has a nice kiddie area for the little ones, a nice sized swimming pool, and a few slides and tubes rides, then you found Just the place.
I visited here a week ago and had an excelent time with the family.
The grounds at the bay underwent a renovation about 2 years ago, so it's very open and modern with a zero depth entry option for the little ones.
The main pool is large, then there is the deeper section with the 4 water slides that drop you off in the 5 foot area.
There are two slides that don't require tubes, then 2 other slides that can be single or double riders with tubes.
The Bay truly is a great water park for the Family. The atmosphere is safe, friendly and fun.
They have a large Grass area as well to the side where you can bring tents, shelters, chairs, and outside food is allowed in the park. So a nice Picnic is a must! No glass or alcohol or smoking allowed, but everything else is OK!
They have a very small concession stand there that serves hot dogs, pretzels, snow cones etc.. But I would recommend either bringing a picnic or you can order pizza from a local Black Jack, Domino's, Pizza Hut and they will deliver it to the Bay and the Staff is very accommodating and will call you over the intercom to pick it up.
Again this is not a true water park with tons of rides, just a well designed small neighborhood water park that delivers in every way.
Below is the price structure from the bay website:
Resident Fees Non-Resident Fees
3 years and younger FREE with paying adult,
4 - 17 years $4.00 $7.00
18 - 59 years $4.00 $9.00
So very affordable for a day of swimming and fun.
I highly recommend the bay!

This facility underwent a remodel and upgrade with more space and new pools and has something for everyone! Reasonable pricing, even for a non- resident. Lifeguards on duty, restrooms, different pools for various age levels, snack bar, and food can be carried in. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

What a fun day! I took four kids (6,7,9,10) and they all had a great time. They asked to go back the next day.
Fun slides, great water temperature, crowded but not uncomfortable, lines for slides were minimal and the lifeguards seemed nice. Also enjoyed the $1.50 snow cones.
The only disappointment was the (women's) bathroom. Tiny stalls, no toilet paper early in the day and not refilled or cleaned and only one small changing spot.
I didn't go for the bathroom though so it didn't ruin it.
We will definitely be going back, especially considering the price.

I took my son here from age 3 through age 12. He never out grew it during that time and always had fun as the park is designed for some many different activities. While I know he would have enjoyed continuing on after that age, I think it is a great break point for ages. I was never concerned about large teenagers during those fun, fun times.

This place is a great place to go if you want the fun of a water park less the expense and crowd. The price is very reasonable and they have ample grass to relax and eat. They allow little kids on the slides on the lap of an adult and also have a great slide in the kids pool.

Went here twice during week long visit with 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old. The absolutely loved it! They have an area that is just for small kids that is not deeper than 18 inches and has 3 small slides the kids can climb and go down by themself. It is a zero entry so goes from inches deep to 18 inches deep. Bring some pool toys, noodles, etc or your kids will be trying to borrow other's toys and not everyone shares that well. The Bay provides life jackets, swimmies for free for you to borrow if you forgot your own. Pack your own lunches and snacks as the food and prices aren't the best. At 2:00pm every day they get everyone out of the pools for 20 minutes for a safety check. A lot of people leave the pool at this time. There is also a second area with a larger and deeper pool and more water slides. Some that you use tubes and some just normal. What is great is they let you take your kids in your lap and the little ones loved it! On the weekdays the crowds weren't too bad. Would advise getting here early so you can find a shady spot to set up. We let the little one nap in the stroller in the shade while we continued to play. Worked out well. Because most of the rides and things are for smaller children, would not recommend for kids over 10.

I lived in broomfield awhile and I had no idea we had such a wonderful water park right here probably cause my kids are older but when my 2 year old grandson came to visit I stubbled upon it online and couldn’t believe it. It is wonderful. Lots of grassy areas and a concession stand. My grandson had the best time ever

So impressed with this venue, for children's' birthday parties. We had great picnic tables with canopy; able to bring our own food, drinks, cake and ice cream. They have several different pools and slides, which meet the needs of a wide range of ages of the kids at our granddaughter's party, all had great time, ages 4 to grandpa! Wonderful clean showers and locker area also!
