Awesome experience! We booked a morning dogsled ride and an afternoon snowmobile tour for a fun-filled day!
Good Times Adventures is a little pricier than similar companies in the area ($140pp for dog sledding; $200 for snowmobile drivers and $50 for passengers), but we were swayed by the positive reviews and the ease of booking. We were able to call and make our reservations about 2 weeks before our trip. They only take reservations a few weeks at a time, so make sure to check their website and plan ahead!
Dog sledding was so incredibly fun and our guide Hailey was awesome! She introduced us to our team of Siberian huskies, gave some tips and tricks for mushing, and then we were off! The dogs were so pumped and were very good boys and girls throughout our whole ride! The dogs run for about 6 minutes at a time so they have time to cool off and get all our love and pets. Hailey made sure everyone got a few turns to mush, including the younger mushers on the tour who got to take the easier legs of our journey. It was so fun to interact with the dogs and learn about the art of dog sledding!
For snowmobiling, we opted for one driver and one passenger. Our guide Craig gave a quick overview of the snowmobiles (which they get brand new each season), safety tips, and took us to the practice area for about 5 minutes before we hit the trails. There were a few stops along the ride, but the main attraction was the Georgia Pass. Breath-taking views on the continental divide. Craig helped us take some photos before we headed back to base.
I highly recommend checking out Good Times Adventures if you're looking for some fun activities!

Good Times helped make our first trip to Breck something we'll never forget. We did dog sledding first and snowmobiling the next day. Alexa or Lexi (i forgot) was amazing with the dogs and making each and everyone of us feel encouraged and motivated when it was our turn to sled (it was a little scarier than I'd imagined). She's great with the handling the dogs also. McGyver was an awesome, fun leader for snowmobiling. We had the best time and Good Times runs like a well-oiled machine. Only $5 for transportation with the friendliest drivers and then organized, well-advised instructions on signing waivers and checking in to keep things moving expeditiously! I highly recommend them!

Had a great tour up the mountain. Brand new machines with heaters on handles. They have snow boots, helmets, and overalls included with your tour, which is helpful. They sell goggles for around $30. You can rent goggles that have a camera on them for $40, wish I had done that. It gets cold, dress appropriately. I have a big foot and I didn’t see boots in my size (15), but I didn’t ask. Even with gloves and the heated bars my hands still got cold. Good gloves are important. Would have liked more photo opportunities, they seemed in a rush to get to the next group. They also mention gratuity for the guide, I didn’t really think it was something that justified a gratuity. I would definitely recommend doing if you have never done it before.

I recommend Good Time Adventures snowmobile tour providing guide Casey (big guy with a red beard) is NOT your guide. The check in process was great with friendly and helpful, people snowmobiles were awesome, nice relaxing trails through the woods and up to the top of the mountain. We all have very thick skin but this guide was rude to both me a grown woman and young adults 30-32, obnoxious, had a "know it all" personality as he said many times he has been doing this for 15 years. It was a shame he had this nasty attitude as he was skilled but he was more concerned about us damaging the vehicles and zero effort on caring or ensuring we had a good time. We all were experienced and he spent all of his time nitpicking and trying to find any reason to scold us adults. We were exhausted from his nonsense after our tour. He needs to go to charm school as my husband suggested to him and does not need to be in front of people unless he changes his attitude which it seems like he is too far gone. The other guides that we interacted with seemed very cool and chill but this rotten egg was our draw. Don't let this one guide deter you from GT Adventures but just make sure you do not get him. This would have been a 5-star experience if not for him .

It was a nice first experience and introduction to snowmobiling for my daughter. However the amount of time spent running in a circle and then crisscrossing past the main check in shop was too much. More actual ride time would be better. Create a loop that once you leave the shop you don’t go near it until you return. Would make the ride more enjoyable. Seeing wildlife would have been nice but I know you can’t control that. The view at the top of the mtn was beautiful. And finally the guides pushing for tips on top of what is charged and indicating 15-20% is customary is excessive.

Loved it ! My boyfriend and I went on the snow mobile excursion he drove while I rode on the back. It was 200.00 for the both of us , we were a little disappointed that we didn’t get to go dog sledding but the guides reported they sell out and book up fast. They offer boots and snowsuits free of charge. One of the guides insisted that i use their boots and I was glad I did bc they were higher than my boots. Our tour guide was concise and straight forward. He let us know he would not be stopping at every turn and giving us history lessons. We didn’t mind. We were there to ride. The scenery was great. The only thing that was annoying was the expensive picture that they offered to you to buy that they take of you and your party before the ride ! It was 25.00. I found ours and tried to take a pic of it and got yelled at‼️ other than that would re-book!

OMG, Jessy was amazing- very attentive and funny! And our doggies were so well behaved, they kept giving us lots of kisses!
Tip for others: it will get chilly, especially for afternoon reservations, so dress warm and maybe even bring a blanket if you have kiddos in your party. The gift shop/check in area has fireplace and hot cocoa to warm up.
The pictures seem quite overpriced, at least to me, and for the package it included (cardboard frame, one print, no digital download or other print sizes, for $35, i think?... and separate digital download for $50? (!!!)) But, I love how they give you endless opportunities to take pictures with the doggies and your family on your own phone, so I'm perfectly fine with that.
Overall, great experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and everyone took their time to educate us on dog sledding. Definitely recommend !!

Snowmobiling was LITT! The instructor was awesome and Good Times allowed our group of 8 to be together. This is much better than placing 15-20 snowmobiles in one group. The terrain was great with steeps, hills, open space and the top of the mountain was breathtaking.
The dog sledding looked like fun.

Jeremy was an awesome tour guide. He was very thorough with his safety and guide information and we felt at ease the entire time. We had tons of fun and he was gracious to take lots of photos of my crew and I, even though it was snowing like crazy and I'm sure his hand was freezing off. lol.
If you are worried about what to wear, they advise wearing under layers just like you would for skiing and they provide comfortable jump suits and boots that keep you warm as long as you wear those proper under layers as they recommend. Keep in mind that you do need to bring your own goggles and gloves and yes, you will need them, it's COLD!
Their website and email advise that you need to arrange your return transportation ahead of time because there is no cell signal up there. They are telling the truth. They absolutely do not have any cell signal once you get near their place of business. One recommendation for them is that they allow guests to get on a guest wifi signal. That would allow guests to send messages or even make wifi calls over the internet to arrange return travel. It's an easy solution that would not cost them much. Other than that I highly recommend Good Times Adventures snowmobiling tours. We had a great time!

Just came back from snow mobiling with good time adventures and it was amazing. It was everyone in my families highlight of our vacation. Our tour guide was Jared and we was very nice, funny and very safe. He explained the snow mobile with great detail and was very conscious about how we were beginners. The snow mobile itself was very easy to handle and had heated seats and handle bars which made it very comfortable. The scenery was breath taking and the culmination of the trip was going to the top of the continental divide at 11,500'. The view is indescribable. Check the weather before you book your trip bc you do not want snow or else you will miss the view. At the end you get free hot chocolate and we hung out on the picnic benches just to talk about the tour. The tour itself did not last 2 hours bc the explanation of the snow mobile took about 15 or 20 minutes. Wish it would've been for the full 2 hours bc once you are on you don't want to get off!

Hello, good morning, I would like to ask, I want to reserve the dog sleigh ride for December 23, my son is 6 years old, how can I reserve?

When will bookings for winter 2022 open? I have tried calling two phone numbers and both say mailbox is full. Also have tried email and it won't go through!
Any suggestions on how to get in touch with this company. We used them a couple of years ago and it was great!
Written September 2, 2022
I'm sorry I'm not sure. The number I have is
970-453-7604 These winter companies may well have limited or no service in the summers and be hard to find plus COVID effect etc. I suspect they will have to start being available soon to get fall and winter booked.

I see there are still no shuttles in 2022 from town because of covid. For travellers without a car how are you getting there are there any other transportation options?
Written January 31, 2022
You need a car. Uber if you have to. They have a well run exciting tour. Absolutely breathtaking views and backwoods scenery. Bucket list items for many and well worth it.

Really looking to book 2 tandem snowmobile tours for 12/20 when we’re passing through Breckenridge. Do you think we will be able to book for this day?

I am the one who handles the dogs? We are a couple, can we take turns to guide them or would I have to have another sled?
thanks
Written January 16, 2021
Actually, we just went on the dogsledding and if you are a couple, one is "driving" the sled (standing behind it on rails and you have a brake) and your significant other sits on the sled. After you go about 5-7 minutes, you switch so you both get a chance to be on the sled and ride/drive behind the dogs. The dogs are really smart and know exactly what to do. If there are other people on the trip (they usually like 6 in total); you switch off between the dog sled and the sled pulled by a ski-doo. Its a great time and the scenery is beautiful and the dogs are great!

How does dog sledding work with a group? I see it says 6 people max but 300 pounds max so unless you have a lot of 50 pound people I don’t understand? We have a group of 5 ranging from 115-180 pounds each.
Written September 22, 2020
They never asked about our weight and the guide said that the dogs can handle in excess of the 300 lb limit. With my husband and I and our two grown kids, we paired off in teams of two to handle the dog sled (one "drives) and the other rides, we exceeded the 300 limit by a few and were fine.
Written January 27, 2021
On the good time adventure website it tells you the age limit, we chose to do this without half our group because they have a 3 year old & a 5 year old. But I can’t remember the age cutoff so be sure to find it on the website!

Is there a shuttle to pick you up at your condo? We’ll be staying in Breckenridge. I was trying to find info on the webpage. We’ll be visiting in 2 wow! Thanks so much!
Written December 30, 2019
We do have shuttle service, at a cost of $5.00pp. We have certain locations in town that we pick up at. We do not pick up at private homes, condos or townhouses.
Written December 30, 2019
Has anyone done both the dog sledding and the snowmobiles? Is it worth it to do both or are you seeing the same views on both tours?
Written February 20, 2019
We did both on same day in December. It is totally worth it. You go to different areas of the land. Both are a great time!
